COMMENTER PHOTOS & IMAGES

It has been discovered commenters can post photos in comments using the comment dashboard.  This wasn’t what we wanted to offer, but it came with the WP package Squawk has been working with.  One of the only privileges for moderator/contributors [Squawk, Texpat, Tedtam, Shannon & Wagonburner] is the ability to post images in the comments.  We have been trying to be very judicious and sparing in using it.  We devote time, money and energy to producing this site so one small perquisite is not a lot to expect.

With comments running to 100 or more each day and Jeff Childers now loading his C&C with large jpegs, the daily length of OC is becoming more and more unwieldy. 

I am asking all commenters to refrain from posting images in comments and to use links only. 

If people don’t want to abide by that, we will simply delete the photos.
