    Everything is worse under Biden.

Biden’s last week has seen more humiliating, more epic fails than a Bulwark orgy.

    This is pure poetry.

Good morning, kids. Tuesday and with all the tyranny, crime, immiseration and threats from within and without our nearly non-existent borders ready to wipe us out, one item this morning just caused me to laugh for an instant, before collapsing into paroxysms of despair.

“I’m a [substitute teacher], and the most important thing we do is take roll, so the school gets paid” the teacher rants. “So, I’m looking at the seating chart as I’m going up and down the rows and marking who’s here and who’s not. I get to the third row and I hear this ‘meow.’ Uhhh, excuse me?”The woman goes on to say that a little girl told her that the teacher needs to meow back because the boy identifies as a cat. The substitute jokingly asked if there was a litterbox in the classroom. The boy then stormed off, and the teacher barked at him.

She ends the video by stating that, when she went to the main office to check out for the day, she was told, “We no longer need your services if you can’t identify with all the children in the classroom.”

“I told the lady, I said, ‘I didn’t know cats were considered people. I thought they were pets.”

Let me step off of the ledge for a second, take a breath and ponder. Am I being played? Is this complete BS/clickbait? Let us assume, for the sake of all of our sanity that it is. The fact that I had my initial reaction to it just underscores the fact that our society and culture have degenerated to such a degree that something I would have dismissed out of hand a few years ago is now within the realm of possibility. And not remotely either.

Two or three generations of children – and counting – year by year have been force fed higher and higher dosages of abject poison, until their brains and their souls were lost to us. Beyond the government, the courts and the bureaucracy, we find ourselves surrounded by far too many people who, as children, guzzled this Kool Aid brewed by fiends from Howard Zinn and Edward Said to Nikole Krylon Klown Hair and Ibram X. Krement. You’ll find them behind a cash register, a Fryolator, the operating theater, an airliner cockpit and the C suite — from Wall Street to Main Street (the bits that were not mostly peacefully looted and burned over the past 18 months) to even the pulpits of our houses of worship, and everywhere in between. Worse than useless pod people, they will denounce you as evil for not wearing a face diaper or getting shot up with Dr. Fauci’s Gene-Altering Laudanum, to claiming that there are only two genders.

Meh, too many of these people evidently aren’t even working at all.

They say you have to work hard to get ahead, but some are finding that you can work very little and still do pretty well.

On Reddit, the “antiwork” subreddit is now one of the social network’s most active and engaged pages, after seeing explosive growth during the [Chinese] COVID-19 pandemic. It currently has more than 1.6 million users, up from 180,000 in October 2020. People post epic text and e-mail screenshots of quitting their jobs, but the real heroes are so-called “idlers” — those who stay in jobs doing the absolute minimum to get by while still collecting a paycheck.

“Those who stay in jobs doing the absolute minimum to get by while still collecting a paycheck” are otherwise known as government employees, usually found at the DMV or Postal Service. If only they did the barest of bare minimums at say the IRS or EPA.

She noted that the general idea behind the anti-work movement “is to reduce the coercive element of labor as much as possible by subverting capitalism,” and said that those active on the page are mainly far leftists who support Bernie Sanders and AOC, and, often also identify as socialists, communists and/or anarchists. . .. . . Some fear anti-workers could have far-reaching consequences for the economy. The Financial Times recently reported that Goldman Sachs was fretting that the movement posed a “long-run risk” to labor force participation.

It comes at a time where a record number of workers are quitting, a phenomenon that’s been dubbed the Great Resignation. In November, 4.5 million Americans voluntarily left their jobs, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported.

So, what does the sub getting fired for refusing to meow back at a student have to do with this? Everything. The work ethic, that is, earning a living via hard work – whatever that work may be – is one of the pillars of of our nation and society. It is in many ways an essential component of freedom and independence. NB the reference to Sandersnista and Titty Caca and you’ll see what I’m driving at. To them, self-reliance is like showing the cross to Dracula. Remember during the halcyon (by comparison) days of “recovery summer” when Malig-Nancy Pelosi crowed about how being unemployed liberated you from “job lock,” so you can be free to pursue your dream to be a poet, painter, toe-dancer or whatever — while being financed with free money from Uncle Sugar?

Of course, there is no free money. It is a Faustian quid pro quo. Eventually, when you’re on the dole, you’ll have to pay them back, especially when you waste so much time on your ass that you become unemployable. And then, they own you. Worse still is when corporatist cronies (for a multitude of reasons too extensive to go into right now) ship almost our entire manufacturing sector overseas leaving millions unemployed. Even more “worser-er” still is that as decades pass, skills like welding, carpentry, tool and die making, foundry work, etc. etc. are not taught because those with that priceless knowledge retire and die off and there is no job market to support those skills in the first place.

But work, money, a home and family, upward mobility and individual freedom are damned as evil by the acorns that fell from the poisoned tree of Bill Ayers and his acolytes. If we vest our hopes in just elections, or in a few people like Trump, DeSantis, MTG and a couple others, we’ve already lost. The rot is so pervasive, dark and deep and goes way beyond just government. There are positive signs out there such as the parents in Virginia, which I should think (and pray) is just the tip of the iceberg. That is where the battle is going to be won or lost. We are going to have to do everything we can to protect the hearts and minds of our children not yet poisoned by the Communists, and try as best we can to reach and win back the hearts and minds of those already in their clutches.

If we don’t, you better learn to meow and put your heart into it.

Coffee & Covid ☙ Tuesday, January 18, 2022 ☙ END OF THE ACUTE
Good morning, C&C! It’s Tuesday, and we have a great roundup for you today, including lots of Narrative 2.0 news: Pfizer’s CEO sees an end to the pandemic, and it’s sooner than you think; Bloomberg shades the injections; South Africa signals an “end to the acute phase”; Japan targets injection discrimination; the Economist explains why Joe Biden’s unpopularity is not his fault; and Australians vote with their kangaroo bucks.

    ************************
    *THE C&C ARMY POST*

    /snip.

I will be speaking in DC on Sunday, January 23, at the March for Freedom with Steve Kirsch, Robert Kennedy, Jr. Pierre Kory, Robert Malone, and others (https://defeatthemandatesdc.com/speakers/). …

    /snip
    **********************
    *COVID NEWS AND COMMENTARY*

According to the Financial Times (UK), Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla, one of our newest billionaires, said late Sunday that he thinks there will be a “return to normal life” sometime IN THE SPRING. Like maybe around the beginning of March or something like that? Right on time for the State of the Union! What a brilliant coincidence.

Bourla credited the vaccines and mass testing for ending the pandemic, of course, even if he was a smidge sketchy on the specifics or the details. Welcome to Narrative 2.0: the pandemic is now endemic thanks to the aggressive injection and testing policy of Josef Robinette Biden, Jr.

The big-pharma executive said that the key going forward will be therapeutics, and fortunately for everyone, Pfizer is all ready to sell some to the government. Open up your wallet! Last month, the FDA approved Paxlovid for early Covid treatment, and just like that, the U.S has already bought 10 million doses; UK snapped up 250,000; and Australia has pre-ordered half a million more. Business is good.

Just for interest, the Wikipedia entry for Paxlovid includes a helpful fact-checking section “debunking” claims that the drug is really just “Pfizermectin.” So please quit using that term. In July last year, Wikipedia’s co-founder Larry Sanger said nobody should trust the platform anymore. So.

    *********************

Bloomberg ran another Narrative-approved story yesterday, headlined “Fourth Pfizer Dose Is Insufficient to Ward Off Omicron, Israeli Trial Suggests.” The story explains that the researchers found that, while the 4x jab raises ANTIBODIES, it still doesn’t actually protect people from Covid. In other words, what the vaccines can’t do anymore is prevent transmission, or something like that.

But that’s not all. The article — in Bloomberg! — reminds readers that “last week, European Union regulators warned that frequent Covid-19 booster shots could weaken the immune system and may not be feasible.” Pretty scary. Good thing they reminded us and repeated that warning. It also quotes an Israeli researcher concluding that, meh, who needs these boosters? She said, “the results didn’t support a wider rollout to the whole population.”

So … we’re at the point now where government-controlled Corporate Media — and Bloomberg is right there with CNN — are starting to write scary stories about the JABS while publishing good-news stories about the virus. Do you have whiplash yet? I know a good chiropractor.

    ***********************

A January 7th article in Bloomberg got this Narrative-approved headline: “Omicron Study in South Africa Points to End of Acute Pandemic Phase.”
You think I’m being cynical? Why is the article located in Bloomberg’s “Politics” section, and not its Health news section?

The subhead reads “Study at large hospital shows significantly milder disease … End of the ‘epidemic phase of the Covid pandemic’ seen.”

    The epidemic is almost over!

The reporter notes that the study “suggests omicron may be a harbinger of the end of the epidemic phase of the Covid pandemic, ushering in its endemic phase.”
    Phases.

The article also included LOTS of cheerful data points from a roundup of different South African sources:

    — just 4.5% of patients with Covid-19 died during their hospital stay in the current wave compared with an average of 21% in earlier waves

    — Hospital stays averaged 4 days compared with 8.8 in previous waves

    — Admissions to intensive-care units dropped to 1% of patients from 4.3%

I bet you Sweden is pretty mad right now. South Africa gets all the credit, even though the Swedes have been doing it for a year. What can I tell you? Life isn’t fair.

    ***************************

Although you won’t find it in Corporate Media, Japan’s Ministry of Health declared that — this is going to sound really crazy — that VACCINES SHOULD BE VOLUNTARY AND ONLY GIVEN WITH INFORMED CONSENT. And furthermore, people shouldn’t discriminate against uninjected folks. Here’s part of the Ministry’s recent advisory:

“Although we encourage all citizens to receive the COVID-19 vaccination, it is not compulsory or mandatory. Vaccination will be given only with the consent of the person to be vaccinated after the information provided. Please get vaccinated of your own decision, understanding both the effectiveness in preventing infectious diseases and the risk of side effects. No vaccination will be given without consent. Please do not force anyone in your workplace or those who are around you to be vaccinated, and do not discriminate against those who have not been vaccinated.

Those wacky Japanese! Do they have any idea how triggering this is for a lot of pro-mandate American liberals? Please be culturally sensitive toward American inject-o-philes.

    ***********************

Late last week, unpopular Mississippi congressman and oversized chair of the January 6 Committee Bennie Thompson
threw his weight around again, this time announcing new subpoenas to Google, Twitter, Reddit, and Facebook. He said the Committee wants to find out how “misinformation” and “violent extremism” on social media caused a far bigger disaster than ONE MILLION HIROSHIMAS. Or something.

The implication in the Committee’s press release was that, dang it, social media platforms are just not doing enough to silence critics of the administration, I mean, radical seditionists. For example, Facebook’s letter cites a Guardian UK article headlined “Facebook Missed Weeks of Warning Signs Over Capitol Attack, Documents Suggest.” The article, relying on one widely-discredited whistleblower, says that among a wide variety of censorship techniques, at one point Facebook filtered out all the posts that included the expression, “Stop the Steal.”

It’s just not good enough, Facebook! Censor harder.

    ************************

The brilliant writers at the Economist — a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Chinese Communist Party — ran an insightful article last week explaining why Joe Biden’s dismal unpopularity ratings are NOT HIS FAULT. How dare you.

The article is headlined, “Joe Biden Was Set Up to Fail.” I’m not kidding. The article claims that you might WANT to blame Joe Biden, and while he does have a few teensy-weensy shortcomings, he never really had a chance — because some people were “against him”:

“Tempting as it always is to bash the politician, however, Mr Biden’s shortcomings are only a marginal reason for his unpopularity. The main one is the dismal reality that half the electorate was against him from the get-go.”

Totally against him. Shameful. You’ll never guess who set him up, either:

“Mr Biden started out with an approval rate two percentage points higher than his share of the popular vote…[but] relentless criticism and disinformation from the right soon reversed that.”

Criticism from the right caused Joe Biden to fail!
It’s so simple! Criticism made Biden bungle the Afghanistan withdrawal and fail to remove our military hardware, turning the Taliban into the second-best equipped military in the world. Criticism made Biden pass policies by executive diktat destroying the supply chain and leaving store shelves empty for the first time in our lives. Criticism made Biden shut down fracking and oil pipelines and push birdbrained economic policies resulting in historically high inflation rates that make Venezuela blush. And don’t get me started on the border.

You right wingers should take an example from the left wing and treat presidents with some respect. Joe Biden should get the same grace and open-mindedness that President Trump always got from the other side of the aisle. So get it together people.

    From C&C comments:

None of us will be shocked when Biden announces his victory over Covid in March. The msm will kiss his *ss like desperate, obsessed anal junkies. How long until the “experts” notify us that Bill Gates and Bourla are the reason we are all still alive? Not our immune systems working as they are designed to. No. That’s absurd. It was science, Pfizer and Bill Gates saving humanity.

I wish I could be confident in this being declared “over,” soon. But I don’t think Brandon’s and Giggles hard core base, combined with the woke corporations, Academia etc., will go down easily, anytime soon.

The Vaxx Cult of Covidia is strong and widespread. What has me in a bit of a Debbie Downer mode this morning, is that I just read results of a Rasmussen poll: 59% of Dems think the unVaxxed should be under house arrest and not permitted to leave except in an emergency. That’s almost 2 out of 3!! Only 79% of Repub oppose it. It should be 100%. I guess those 20% get all of their information from the TeeVee and assume it’s all true.

Almost HALF of Dems think the Govt should be able to fine and IMPRISON people who question the efficacy of Vax on social media, radio, tv, or ONLINE!

45%, again, almost HALF of the Dems think the unVaxxed should be put into “designated facilities” (i.e, Camps) until they submit.

In other words, unless you live in a solid red neighborhood, you have neighbors – people you say hi to while walking the dog – favor you being fined, imprisoned, hauled away (preferably by boxcar no doubt), to a Camp, if they happen to discover your “unclean” status. Almost half of this country favors full on Australia fascism, over a medical procedure.

I suspect you are correct. Biden’s ship has sunk and he will cling to Covid like a dirty piece of flotsam. We may need to get ready to ride those rails.

Half the electorate was against him (Biden)??? Oh, so they’re admitting he didn’t get the most votes ever for any presidential candidate??? Lying liars.

Well the narrative may be changing, but apparently hospitals haven’t gotten the memo. They are still using the same protocols to take in the bucks rather than save lives (as you already know from your fight for Dan). Just had a friend’s brother die after the whole Remdesivir/ventilator treatment. Enough already!

“”social media platforms are just not doing enough to silence critics of the administration”

Every day you hear about more and more people/organizations being censored and deplatformed. I’m expecting both to continue to accelerate faster…

Well, we’re supposed to be trying for a successful (this time) closing on our river property today. The papers last week included withholding property taxes (which have been paid already) and the per diem was wrong.

Hopefully, today will go much better.

Again, I am amazed at how good I feel about this development in our lives. Maintaining that property has become a bit of a PITA, and redeveloping the flooded units was a task we were not eager to take on. The new buyers are, I’m sure, going to invest their time and money into tearing it all down and building a million dollar home to sell. They have the infrastructure – well is in place and working, and a septic system more than capable of handling the load of a large house. I wish them well.

I have no relationship with Siri. I may have played with her the first couple of days I owned my first iPhone. I simply have no use for her.

So, I had a short texting conversation with the boss man just now, where he was asking me to check a well which I normally don’t check on Tuesdays.

At the end of the conversation Siri puts a banner on the screen that she has put a note in my Reminders app (which I also don’t use) to check that well site.

I said, “What???”. This is the first time I’ve ever seen such a thing.

So I go into Settings and find Siri and open her up – for the first time ever. And there I find a listing of every single app on the Home page – including email, phone, messages, search engines…all of them.

So I turn Siri off and then go thru each app individually and turn off the five things Siri can do with each app – just in case.

So if you don’t play with Siri and don’t want her looking over your shoulder, I suggest you do the same.

I’m certain she’s still watching, but it felt good anyway.

Good grief. After all these years I just now figured this out. Arrrrrggghhh!

A mainstream Danish newspaper has apologized to its readers for “hypnotically” and unquestioningly following government narratives on COVID-19.

The headline of the Ekstra Bladet reads, “WE FAILED,” in which the paper’s editorial team wrote that “for almost two years, we – the press and the population – have been almost hypnotically preoccupied with the authorities’ daily coronavirus figures.”

and over in Germany a few months ago,

For example, one of Germany’s top newspapers, Bild, issued an apology last August for fearmongering over COVID, specifically about claims that children were “going to murder their grandma.”

“To the millions of children in this country for whom our society is responsible, I want to express here what neither our government nor our Chancellor dares to tell you. We ask you to forgive us,” said editor-in-chief Julian Reichelt.

    I was unaware of this.

If this entire situation goes pear-shaped tomorrow, don’t say that you didn’t receive plenty of warnings. We learned over the Christmas holiday period that the nation’s airlines were in a panic over the impending launch of a national 5G network because many of their commercial aircraft could suffer navigational equipment failures when exposed to the new C-band radiation coming from the cell towers. The rollout of the new service, mostly by Verizon and AT&T, was scheduled to start on January 3rd, but the date was pushed back until tomorrow in a “compromise” that basically satisfied nobody. Now the date is almost upon us and the nation’s major airlines have sent an urgent letter to multiple federal government departments warning that a “catastrophic aviation crisis” is on the way unless something is done. They’re talking about the possible cancellation of more than a thousand flights daily, affecting as many as 100,000 passengers. And yet the launch is apparently still scheduled to go forward.

    and this,

They’re talking about older digital altimeters that are not shielded against C-band radiation and can potentially be disabled by it. Any plane coming in for an instrument landing during poor visibility conditions could find itself in a lot of trouble and that’s a risk that the airlines are rightly refusing to take.

Then I remember buying “large ephemera lot” from Ebay, paying attention only to two advertisements from the 1920s for camping gear that matched items in my collection and an incredibly low price. Here’s a Baxter Black DVM update from Amarillo.

Yes, he is in hospice care but probably not the way you think. His son-in-law took to Facebook recently to clear the air. According to Will:

“Friends, thanks for all the messages of prayers for my father in law, Baxter Black. Short answer is, Yes, he’s on “home hospice”. HOWEVER, this is not the “hospice” we’ve all known but is a once or twice a week visit from a home healthcare worker to just check on how he’s doing, etc. with some health issues. Baxter and Cindy Lou Logsdon Black visited us a couple days right after Christmas where he got to inspect his grandson’s first 4-H goat project. Not sure where all the confusion came from but at this time it’s not exactly what it sounds like. God bless y’all!”

So this is good news. It looks like that he is doing a lot better than what we have all imagined. I still think we should keep him and his family in our thoughts. At least the news is better than what we first heard.

You can send well wishes to Baxter at his wife’s email address:  [email protected]

It sounds more like a home healthcare service than actual hospice care to me.

We took him on trip to Bowie so he could attend his twin sister’s funeral and we stayed for a coupke days. A few months later he was spending most of his time in bed, but still conversational. The night Elizabeth came home I thought that’s what I could look forward to and made arrangements to work from home. Shannon came down and sat with her while I went to the office to gather everthing I needed. She slept that entire day. When she slept through the next day as well, I knew this was going to be different, but still held out hope she’d wake up after a while. She never did.

Sometimes it’s expected. Other times it’s kind of not a total surprise. Other times it’s a shock out of the blue.

    It’s never a happy occasion.

May he Rest In Peace and may eternal light shine upon him.

    ‘May the LORD bless you
    and keep you;

I’m glad I stopped by, Hamous gone, Mercy?! He was so young and posted a few weeks ago, January 3, I know because I looked it up after he went missing. His last post was about returning to work, I think? May he rest in peace. We’re all really going to miss him. Tedtam how did you find out? And give us the details if you can. FWIW; I E Mailed him last week and didn’t here back but I had no idea he had passed.

Kinda somber afternoon now. First we learn of MHarper’s husband, then Hamous, and apparently I totally missed Sarge’s Elizabeth passing.

Ironically I started rewatching the 2003 Showtime TV series Dead Like Me on the free Roku Channel. It is about a select few souls that are chosen to act as Grim Reapers. The series follows George and her cohorts who “work” in the accident division. Their goal is to take a soul prior to death so the person does not experience the pain of their accidental demise. It only ran two seasons before it was canceled. It is billed as a comedy, however, it does have its reflective moments.

Outsourced IT sucks!!! We are a Fortune 500 company and we can’t get the new hire that starts on my new project tomorrow a laptop that has all the correct software installed on it prior to giving it to the new hire.

These people step over a dollar to pick up a dime. There is a process called imaging where the IT guy can put a specific discipline’s required software on by snapping his fingers. Apparently now they are using bots that are supposed to streamline the process. The problem is that these bots can only put on some generic software like Microsoft Office. The poor engineer does not even have the VPN software loaded onto his machine. These IT guys are idiots.

Now they have to take it to one of the two local guys here in Houston. Those two local guys are now super overloaded. If they quit, we will be in a world of hurt.
