I’m on vacation. Of course it’s Thursday already. Least I didn’t miss any holidays.

Going to go vote this morning, we have to go to Hempstead. Need to go before the rioters get up.

Prairie View is an option to us as well. I wanted to go there just for the fun of it but the wife wants none of it.
-
Prairie View gets its own polling location since they always hollerin about getting disenfranchised.

Well there y’all are, I popped in about 5 but it was real quiet, well except that someone was sawing logs, I’ve been busy since then.

HEADLINE: Schiff Lies About Intelligence to Cover for the Bidens
sCHIFF-hEAD lied about the entire Russian collusion thing and put the country through 3 years of BS. In spite of all this Trump continues to achieve one success after another. The big question is: Why can’t we charge Schiff-Head for lying to the American people and for fraud in spending all that money chasing a lie; all to hinder his political rival – at the expense of We The People?
This nonsense where an elected politician can libel and slander his opponent with known lies and not face any repercussions must come to an end. The Russian Collusion thing should, in a sane world, have landed at least 2 dozen people in prison for multi-year sentences. Instead, they get to continue and not only their target but We The People suffer for it.
The “news” media routinely lies by both commission and omission and still there are no consequences. I think it may be time to bring back dueling so that the purveyors of prevarication face real jeopardy for their actions and the wronged gets a legitimate chance at reclaiming his honor. -

Cardinal Vigano responds to the Papal heresy/heresies.
I watched Dr. Marshall’s response to the same topic last night. He pointed out that there was a period in the 1300’s that was, well, confusing as well. He asked if we were ready to go through a long period of problematic Poping? It could happen. He spoke the truth, though: we need to focus on the truth of our Faith and realize that the Church is full of (highly) imperfect people. While the people are the Body of the Church, they do not change/cannot change fundamental doctrine, no matter their flaws.
He did a podcast on St. Bellarmine’s five opinions on how the Pope could lose the Papacy. Strangely enough, when I searched for a link for that podcast, almost all I could find were anti-Marshall screeds. Marshall has wissed off many in the Catholic Church because he doesn’t automatically accept this Pope’s teachings and has uncovered problems in the Church. In addition, he and a group of others like him, keep pushing back against the heretic Fr. James Martin, who is close to this Pope. Damn 200 years of scholarship and the Deposit of Faith! says James Martin. We must re-create the Church!
Dr. Marshall said in his podcast that he has it on good authority that those mentioned in the previous paragraph are pushing for a schism in the Catholic Church, wanting the “rad trads” (radical traditionals, what an oxymoron) to break away and form their own church. He recommended, and reminded us, that we need to stay with the Church and work from within to bring Her back to being the Bride of Christ, and not some character from Hosea. (That last part was mine.)
I have a feeling that faithful Catholics are in for a challenging interval.

I saw Newsmax showed the “crowd” for the Obama drive-in rally.
It was pitiful, especially considering who Obama is/was. At least it was bigger than the crowd Biden’s been pulling.
But then, that bar can’t get much lower.

Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) addressed a get-out-the-vote event in Asheville, North Carolina, on Wednesday, though when the cameras panned out, there appeared to be very few supporters present.
Supporters stood inside large white circles or on “X” marks in an effort to enforce social distancing at the event.

Chicoms are going after Rep. McCaul in the Texas 10th District.
These efforts have made McCaul a target for the Communist Party, which has used its network of English-language propaganda sites to discredit the lawmaker. CCP-controlled outlets have published nearly two dozen hit pieces on McCaul in the past several months, including a Wednesday article by the Global Times claiming McCaul’s hawkish views on China could cost him his seat in Congress. McCaul is locked in a tight election with his challenger, according to polls, and the incumbent’s team views China’s English-language press blitz as part of an effort to ensure he loses.
and this,
At least 17 stories attacking McCaul have appeared in Chinese-controlled media outlets in recent months. The flurry of stories published in outlets such as China Daily, China Global Television Network, and the Global Times portray McCaul and other China hawks as a danger to the U.S.-China relationship. They label the China Task Force a “circus troupe” and go to great lengths to push back against accusations the Communist Party lied about the coronavirus pandemic and hid critical information from global authorities.

Morning gang. Late start this morning. Judge Amy seems to be taking center stage today, taking the Bidet’s off the front page. Tonight’s debate is so chock full of opportunities for Trump he’ll have a hard time deciding where to stop. Generally, I would expect Trump just to ignore whatever topics and questions the moderatorette brings up and treat it more like another of his rallies, talking about whatever he wants to.
In other news, my todo list is still there, but it’s looking doubtful that I’ll attack much of it today. The smoke detector started screeching this morning about 3AM, so we had to get up, find a ladder, crawl up there, and take it down, whereupon, it stopped screeching. The good folks at First Alamr said that it was a false alarm usually because there had been no maintenance such as periodic vacuuming, of the unit, and that an accumulation of dust can trigger the sensitive detectors in there. Anyway, they are sending a new unit to replace this one which is only 2 years old. I’ll mount it on the wall rather than the ceiling so that it’s withing arm’s reach and so that it can be periodically vacuumed without climbing up on a ladder and breaking a neck or something. No complaints at all with First Alert honoring the warranty.
You all have a great day, and more later as it develops.

I found out who is running against Lacey Hull, it is a disgusting sow named Akila something. I could tell that she was lying in her commercial because her lips were moving. I wonder just how R/A News was being funded to run all those blasted internet commercials. I am not exaggerating at all when I say I must have seen 5000 of them. That kind of saturation advertising is not cheap and they started last year. Only recently did the opponent, the sow Akila, reveal herself to be the opponent. I am really looking forward to the Ds getting fed to the wood chipper (figuratively) in this election.

I just got back from the funeral for the father of my Church Friend. Social distancing, everyone in masks, etc. I was sitting two pews behind a black lady in scrubs – I guess she was a nurse taking time off duty to attend. I knew she wasn’t Catholic because she had no clue on the Catholic aerobics, and refused to kneel when everyone else did. She also had in hand a thin Bible. Catholic Bibles are usually beefier than their Protestant versions, due to the original texts of the apocrypha still being part of our canon.
I went up to her at the end of mass and thanked her for coming, and let her know “it’s easy to tell when a non-Catholic attends a Catholic mass, because you don’t know our aerobics.” She laughed and agreed, and I said that I hoped she was blessed by it, and she said she was. What a pleasant lady. She may have been one of the deceased’s nurses, there at the end.
I took the opportunity to leave my rosaries with Church Friend so he’ll have them on Saturday for the confirmation mass rehearsal, to hand out to the students. I see the empty space on my table where the tub holding has been sitting for months now. It’s like a missing tooth. I guess I need to make some more to give away.
It’s what I do.

The inbox here at The War Zone can be pretty interesting on any given morning, but today’s correspondence featured something you definitely don’t see every day—an entire Patriot air defense battery sprawled out on a runway at a small regional airport. Apparently, very few people, if anyone, at Easterwood Airport in College Station, Texas knew exactly what was going on with the sudden deployment of the Army’s preeminent air defense system, either.

Living down here in God’s psyche-ward waiting room known as Florida you sometimes forget that the occurrences we encounter on a regular basis are actually unique and newsworthy to other parts of the world. (TRANSLATION-.any place north of the Jacksonville city limits). So, it took me a little bit of time to realize that word of a world famous musician with an unhinged ex-wife who was recently married by Elvis and then barricaded herself in a waterfront mansion with roving armed security personnel might be deemed interesting to others.
DATELINE, Miami: Court documents filed in Miami-Dade County by lawyers on behalf of music star Phill Collins. The filing intends to get an injunction and eviction notice against his ex-wife, who has occupied the Miami Beach mansion owned by the former frontman of the rock group Genesis. Collins’ former spouse, Orianne Cevey, is squatting on the property, according to the filed tort, and things only unravel from there. -

This is a nightmare for this guy who is a deputy fire chief in a town close to me.
A deputy fire chief from Carlstadt, New Jersey is facing charges of possessing a prohibited weapon after he was arrested with a silencer outside of the borough hall. While prosecutors in Bergen County and New York City media are portraying the arrest as the culmination of an investigation into international arms trafficking, Matthew Moran’s attorney says his client was actually arrested for trying to do the right thing.
and,
Moran ordered “fuel filters” from an advertisement on Instagram. When the package arrived from China, it had two items that looked more like silencers to him than fuel filters.
Moran went to a friend at NAPA Auto Parts who explained to him that these items were not actually fuel filters, that he knew others who had mistakenly ordered them, and that he should get rid of them.
The next day, Moran voluntarily surrendered those “fuel filters” to the Carlstadt Police Department.
but there aren’t enough real criminals out there so local cops and the Feds have to invent them,
Police arrested Moran on Thursday following an international arms-trafficking investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, according to a release from prosecutors.
Investigators say Moran purchased silencers from an overseas company that were “smuggled” through the mail to his Carlstadt home.
Detectives from the prosecutor’s office and Homeland Security officials seized firearms, high capacity magazine, thousands of ammunition rounds and police-issued ballistic vests after a search of his home.
Don’t order anything from China. Don’t trust police to protect your constitutional rights. Don’t trust any prosecutor – local or federal. Verify and corroborate everything they tell you.

The fuel filter or “gas trap” thing is well known in prepping, survivalist, and other gun communities…and the ATF…a picture of the damtings should be enough to tip someone off as to what they really are. This guy either knew what he was getting, or is really, really stupid.
Same thing with “arm braces” that attach to rifle caliber pistols. Those are illegal devices that turn your legitimate pistol into an illegal short barrel rifle.
The difference between the two is that an “arm brace” isn’t illegal until you attach it to the pistol, where suppressor components are illegal, even if unassembled.

I am of the opinion that every firearm should be suppressed from the factory. What is the point of having a deafening roar (I have to wear hearing aids because of too many shotgun and other blasts, not to mention working around heavy, noisy machinery) from a firearm? You can’t “silence” the supersonic crack, and the action makes noise, not to mention that a suppressor only reduces the decibels, not eliminate them. That garbage they put out on TV is ridiculous. Even a suppressed firearm is somewhat noisy. A suppressed firearm won’t likely damage your ears as quickly.

Technically, you can make one out of a soda pop bottle and duct tape. Or so I’ve heard. I really don’t know how or that its most effective for the first two shots using a Ruger MkI with a bull barrel.

#61 Bones, they have been trying to get Silencers legalized for a while now and seem to be making some progress. The only reason that they were made illegal was because of Prohibition in the 30’s and the Gangsters. They also outlawed machine guns and sawed off shotguns. I’m sure you know that just making the point. What makes me crazy is that owning a shotgun with a 17″ barrel or a silencer is a Felony! Makes NO sense. You may or not know this but silencers are legal all over Europe because they make guns more neighborly. I’ll leave out their restrictive laws on handguns but if you can own one a silencer is not a problem.
-
One more thing if you keep the bullet subsonic it is much easier to suppress. The 300 Blackout chambered in an AR is very popular, I have a couple of friends that have them with suppressors and yes, they are legal.

Oh, I thought there was a shortcut. I’ll continue to take the long route.
Any drinking game tonight has to exclude “he is lying” and “c’mon man”. Otherwise you’ll be too sloshed within a half hour to finish the debate.

Oh, and we’ll probably watch the debate on Newsmax or C-span. Newsmax, most likely.
Fox News has a bad habit of putting their talking heads in the way. CNN will probably experience some devastating technical difficulties that will prevent them from airing the event.

Found this through Spreely: Kamala, et al, included in China deals
A list of “key domestic contacts” for a joint venture involving Jim and Hunter Biden and now-bankrupt CEFC China Energy Co. included former Vice President Joe Biden‘s current running mate Sen. Kamala Harris, among other prominent Democrats, Fox News has learned.
An email exclusively obtained by Fox News, with the subject line “Phase one domestic contacts/ projects” and dated May 15, 2017, Biden’s brother, Jim Biden, shared a list of “key domestic contacts for phase one target projects.”
The email is unrelated to the laptop or hard drive purportedly belonging to Hunter Biden, the former vice president’s son.
The Biden camp has not responded to it in any way. Joe himself remains under his self-imposed lid until after tonight’s final presidential debate, which will be moderated by a journalist with longstanding Democratic ties. Harris has yet to hold any sort of press event. The malevolent media have not clamored for one.
Sen. Harris is specifically named in the email, along with several other prominent Democrats and one Republican.
The list, included Harris, D-Calif.; Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y.; Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn.; Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif.; Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y.; New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo; New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio; former Virginia Gov. Terry McCauliffe, among others.

Good afternoon Hamsters. Almost good evening, it is. Voted in the middle of this afternoon at the Bowie Middle School in Richmond, closest to our place. Found a convenient parking place in the school’s lot only a short distance from the polling place. Line was not exceptionally long and fortunately half the wait was in the shade. When I got back in the car I saw the temp was 90, so no wonder it was hot in the sun.
Those waiting with me were a great mix of ages from some young folk likely voting for the first time to elders like me who are experienced voters. Fort Bend County had purchased new voting machines to be first used in this election, and as has been mentioned in Hambone and in the Chron there was a delay on the first day because of an error in setting them up, namely having the wrong date for the start of early voting that messed up the first day of early voting for a couple of hours until all the voting machines in the county had been corrected.
The ladies who ran the voting place were a great help with navigating the new machines. I preferred the previous machines as being less complicated and thought that having new ones for such an important election surely accounts for some of the wait time to get in. Definitely saves time if you’ve examined a sample ballot ahead of time and know what you want to put in the machine. But the new machines give you a receipt for voting, and that goes into the monitored election box just on the way out.
Altogether from when I left home until I left the polling place was pretty much only one hour. Not bad for the first week of early voting that has attracted large crowds pretty much all over. I thought the best times to go voting would be either mid morning or mid afternoon, and mid afternoon worked out well. Also I think it is a courtesy to our fellow citizens who are at work during the day to be out of their way when they are able to vote after work.
Spouse voted by mail on Monday, not wanting to stand in line for who knows how long. But he went to the post office to deposit the vote envelope rather than put it out in our rural mailbox for the mailman to pick up.
Now all we have to do is wait until November 3rd or maybe 4th to find out who won what.
-
#68 Texanadian BAWHAHAHAHAHA!!! That is funny right there, I don’t care who you are.

OK, I never ever have any hard liquor, I quit the stuff on my 30th birthday, beer/wine only since then. On my 60th birthday my son and son-in-law took me to Taste of Texas and they got me some Crown Royal. A year or so ago, my daughter got me some Michael Berry Moonshine and I’ve had a couple of nips here and there so tonight, for the circus, I put my mason jar in the freezer and I’ll put the booze in the jar so I’ll not need any ice and yes I know I should just have it as is. 😉

The problem with taking pictures of such events is that they pale to the real thing. I don’t care what kind of expensive, fancy camera you may have, God’s paintbrush is always so much better. I remember when a tree in our backyard was full of monarch butterflies, resting during their migration. Every inch of every branch had a butterfly on it, slowly fanning its wings. When the setting sunlight hit the tree, it looked like it was alive and on fire. It was so overwhelmingly beautiful that I ran quickly for a camera.
The picture paled in comparison so badly that I think I threw the picture away.

Now that is hysterical. Gotta watch it several more times today and every day until November 4th. 🙂

I can’t vouch for the intelligence or common sense of the man who was arrested. The ad on Instagram and whether he should have recognized the items as silencers is not the point. If anyone had bothered to go to the link and read the entire article they would have seen a gun owner who took the contraband to the police department to turn it in. This man, a deputy fire chief, also instructed his postmaster to block any deliveries from this sender and canceled his second order with the vendor and Paypal. This has been documented by his attorney.
For all this, the local cops call Homeland Security and arrest him, serve a search warrant and seize all of his legally owned weapons and ammunition and probably cost him his job. The really stupid local DA has tried to make a sensational case out of this by publicly accusing the man of being an international arms trafficker.
This is how stupid, ignorant cops and useless prosecutors destroy people’s lives with impunity and I find it outrageous.

I have absolutely no patience with the clowns who think they can skirt firearms laws by being cute. They give us all a bad name and actually set us back. A couple years ago we got within a pubic hair of legalizing suppressors. Clods like these don’t make that an easy thing.
-
And if you think you have a hard job, it’s probably not as hard as the one San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone has.
He said that marriage is “unique because it is the only institution that connects children to their mothers and fathers, and therefore is presumed to be a sexual relationship.”
“The nature of marriage, the place of sex within a virtuous life, these great teachings of the Church come to us from God, are illuminated by reason, and do not change,” Cordileone said.
He has been quoted as saying “the ultimate attack of the Evil One is the attack on marriage.”

IIRC, that was a warning that Mary gave at Fatima –
Cardinal Carlo Caffarra… revealed in 2008 that shortly after Pope John Paul II charged him with founding the Pontifical Institute for the Studies on Marriage and the Family he had written to Fatima visionary, Sr. Lucia, asking for her prayers. To his surprise, a few days later he received a lengthy response from Sr. Lucia. Included in her letter was this startling statement:
The final battle between the Lord and the reign of Satan will be about marriage and the family.
How can we not be overwhelmed by these words, simultaneously troubling and comforting, when we look around and see that not only our secular culture but even Holy Mother Church is being convulsed with dissension precisely in relation to fundamental questions surrounding marriage and the family?
The enemies of Christ have long set their eyes on the family, recognizing that the family, as the domestic church, first government, first school, first hospital, first economy and the first mediating institution of society, is the primary obstacle to their moral revolution.
So it all makes sense. I note that she said this was the last and greatest battle.
I need to go to confession more often. If we’re already in the last battle, I need to be read to go at any time.

-
Question about “The Talk” was a big setup for Molester Joe.
-
Joe gave Trump his next ad: “Joe denies calling black people super predators…” and then run the tape.
-
Joe is always allowed the final word.
-
Joe says telling the truth is his base moral.
-
That s**t eating grin of Joe’s is his tell.
-
The Molester/Rapist just CHECKED HIS WATCH!!!!
-
Will The Molester/Rapist catch hell for checking his watch like GHWB caught decades ago?
-
Biden is going to retrofit my home so it’s more energy efficient. Oooh sign me up Joe.
-
The moderator is doing very much better than expected.
-
Can Biteme ever speak without lying?
-
She’s a lot better looking than Chris Wallace.
-
She gives Joe the last word EVERY TIME.
-
Pollution is WAY down over the last 50 years.
-
Biden is resurrecting the Hope and Change mantra. Hahaha
-
Can Biteme ever speak without lying?
He’s a democrat, ain’t he?
-
The “laptop” raises it’s ugly head. Trump called it the laptop from hell.
-
I’m waiting to see Trump put up commercials:
Joe: “Honesty…integrity…that’s me.”
Trump: “Hold my beer, I’m putting up this video…” -
Biteme looks pathetic and defensive, Trump looks strong and confident.
-
Sorry, I can’t watch that stuff. I’ve been watching a Dennis Prager Fireside Chat.
-
You should watch Bobulinski’s presser. I think there is more information shared than what you saw on Ace’s site.
-
Windmills cause cancer? Biteme just accused Trump of that.
-
Biteme job at lied again about his opposition to fracking. Fracking causes cancer, how??
-
This BS of Biteme getting the last word is getting old.
-
I have to agree with the Gallup poll… watching the debate did not change who I voted for last week.
-
The moderator did a whole lot better than the beotch Chrissy Wallace did. Not a very high hurdle I must say, bit for being a hyperpartisan left wing skank, she did well.
Trump wiped the floor with the hollow husk of Biden. -
The ONLY reason to ever watch one of those things is if you’re involved in a drinking game with a liver that’s in full fighting form.
And you don’t have to work the next day.
And you have a LOT of decent booce.
-
America is at a turning point. The good news is that if Bidet wins, HA MESHIACH can not be far away. It helps to give a data point to the timeline that has been ordained.
-
#129 Pyro: No, yes, and yes: IN THAT ORDER.
-
The moderator, Welker, didn’t do any better than Wallace. It’s just that Trump was more focused and controlled tonight. She interrupted Trump dozens of times and never did it to Biden. But Joe was awful and offered up the bait for all kinds of clips tomorrow pointing out all his lies tonight.
-
No, no and does beer count?
-
Well Trump did fine and even though the moderator was in the tank for BiteMe Trump was allowed to respond several times and I’ll declare Trump the winner. I called daughter and the boy and they pretty much agree. And the boy thought that the moderator gal was more fair than most and I did also.
-
#132 I’ll Agree with that, Trump was forceful but nice and the gal let him have a few words.
-
BTW; Over Yonder often posts picture from the past and yesterday this little buck showed up. How old do you think he is? FWIW; I have a real good idea and it is much younger than you might think. 😉
-
The Best moment of the night. I couldn’t believe Biden fell for the obvious trap.
-
Bone:
Windmills cause cancer? Biteme just accused Trump of that.
The PRODUCTION of the windmill parts puts out a lot of carcinogenic pollution, as Trump tried to explain.
-
At least Trump got the Biden corruption laptop into the mainstream.
Now, gotta run with it.
-
What am I doing up at 10:30?! Maybe it was the Moonshine? Nytol. 😉
-
Did Biden really say he would end the oil & gas industry???
-
That seals the deal in Pennsylvania.
-
This Bobulinski dude … I don’t know.
-
Good debate. Trump won. Night all.
