Tuesday’s Biden Hoover-It-Up Payday Open Comments

For all its many faults, transgressions and sleazy lies, Politico.com has occasionally produced some truthful first rate journalism.  One of the best examples is Ben Schreckinger’s detailed expose of Biden, Inc. in the summer of 2019.  Amazing is it not that a piece of work like this has been lying like rotting road kill in the middle of the 2020 presidential campaign ?  For almost 15 months this report has been out there and ignored, stepped over by every elitist news clown in the American media.  This isn’t some Russian financed, conspiratorial claptrap to allegedly  manipulate Giuliani and Bannon.  It was researched and written by a real, genuine lefty reporter.

In the late summer of 2006 Joe Biden’s son Hunter and Joe’s younger brother, James, purchased the firm. On their first day on the job, they showed up with Joe’s other son, Beau, and two large men and ordered the hedge fund’s chief of compliance to fire its president, according to a Paradigm executive who was present.

After the firing, the two large men escorted the fund’s president out of the firm’s midtown Manhattan office, and James Biden laid out his vision for the fund’s future. “Don’t worry about investors,” he said, according to the executive, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, citing fear of retaliation. “We’ve got people all around the world who want to invest in Joe Biden.”

and,

James and Hunter are another story. There is no indication the Bidens ever succeeded in bringing new foreign money into the fund, but their involvement with Paradigm, which spanned the final two years of Joe’s Senate career and first two years of his vice presidency, was troubled for other reasons: In James and Hunter’s five-year tenure, Paradigm became associated with a number of alleged and confirmed frauds, including Allen Stanford’s multibillion-dollar Ponzi scheme [The Houston Connection !], while seeking to draw on their powerful relative’s political allies for financing.

plus,

James and Hunter brought in Larry Rasky, a lobbyist and longtime Biden adviser, who at one point, according to court records, was going to provide $1 million in financing. Rasky did not respond to a request for comment. They also obtained $1 million in financing from SimmonsCooper, a St. Louis-area law firm with a thriving practice representing asbestos victims. Partners in the firm had befriended the Biden sons, steering business to Beau’s Delaware law firm and donations to Biden’s campaign coffers. SimmonsCooper’s interests aligned with Joe Biden’s views. He was a prominent opponent of the creation of an asbestos trust fund, a measure that would have curtailed lawsuits related to the cancer-causing fibers.

Things quickly got messy. The prospective purchasers discovered that because of an accounting trick, the fund had only a fraction of the $1.5 billion in assets under management that it claimed, according to court filings.

a never ending saga,

Another figure tied to Farmers Bank, the politically connected financier Norman Rales, extended James Biden an unsecured loan.

Rales, who did extensive business with Farmers, extended the loan to James through Joe Biden’s former law firm, Walsh, Monzack & Owens. One of the firm’s partners, John T. Owens, was a Biden brother-in-law, having married Joe’s sister and political confidante, Valerie. Owens would also become a partner in the nightclub.

These unusual arrangements came to light after Farmers Bank nearly collapsed in 1976, forcing the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation to bail it out. The crisis spurred several investigations into the bank’s lending practices and political connections. It also prompted Moody’s to downgrade the state of Delaware’s credit rating from A1 to A because the state’s finances were so intertwined with the bank’s.

What a sleazy family the Bidens are.

I watched Tucker’s show last night and he was talking about the Biden story how sleazy it looked and that it really ought to be investigated but the he said this is NOT the story. The REAL STORY is about Twitter, Facebook and U-Tube censoring any part of this story and that almost all the Lamestream Media were parroting, in unison that this was a Russian Hoax!!! This should scare the hell out of anyone left or right knowing that the most powerful media companies on the planet were censoring anything that would make Biden look bad, 15 days before an election. He showed several PMSNBC and other talking heads saying exactly the same Democrat talking points. My thought was don’t they think scapegoating Russia is getting a little tiresome? 3 damn years of totally made up Trump/Russia collusion was proven false and the talking heads still say that Trump is in bed with Putin. Do they really think that their listeners are THAT STUPID?!

Yesterday’s homework, I just got around to checking out Texpat’s #18 about Trump Sign stealing in west LA. The boy lives in Moorpark, Ventura County CA and his neighborhood is very conservative but there were no Trump or Biden signs so the boy put up one and a guy down the street put up a Biden sign and soon Trump signs were everywhere but the Biden sign disappeared. The boy heard through the Grape-Vine that the guy took down his sign so as to not cause trouble. So it works both ways and by that I mean the Biden voter probably thought that the EVIL trump supporters would do him harm when in reality it is quite the opposite but he was likely programed this way by the left-wing whack-job media.

I have a friend whose parents live in northern Indiana. They put up a huge Trump banner/flag on the front of their house. Apparently it covers several windows. My friend’s brother admonished his parents to tell them to be careful about repurcussions. The parents eventually took it down. About a day later their next door neighbor put up a huge banner/flag on their house. My friend’s parents put theirs back up. Now there are eight houses on the block with these ginormius flags draped/mounted to the fronts of the homes.

Good morning gang. Got some rest last night and am feeling more chipper today. Yesterday’s drive through the country featured several large signs on fences in the rural areas for Trump, but up here in the ritzy North Dallas area there are several Harris Biden signs in the several large yards. Of course, Big D like H Town is a Dem stronghold oasis in the middle of a conservative state. The Walmart looks to be a Dem stronghold also, if you get my drift.

I saw where Trump intends to do as many as 5 rallies a day between now the election day. With the pending Judge Amy joining the SCOTUS, the vain Chief Justice Roberts will lose his “swing vote” status where he had hoped to leave his mark on history, so he will reliably join the other liberals from this point forward, and he started with the Penn decision allowing votes to keep on coming in 3 days following the election. And Cornholio is continuing to distance himself from Trump. Weasels will eat their flesh before it’s over.

No real news pending so far today. You all have a great one, and go ahead and get out there and vote. More later.

I missed Rush’s announcement that his cancer is progressing. Dangit. I was wondering what was going on when he said that they wouldn’t be restocking their online store.

Here’s hoping that new treatments work, but if there hasn’t been success yet, I’m not getting my hopes up.

I remember finding his program in the late 70’s. I remember I was parking my car after running some errand around lunchtime. I was scanning channels and happened upon his voice and began listening. At first, I thought he was a pompous a$$, but what he said just made sense. It took me a while to realize that his “gift from God” was actually an humble recognition.

I have listened to him faithfully, almost all three hours almost every day, since then. He’s been a big part of my life. While I’m hoping for the best, I also realize that all good things must come to an end. He has been so influential for so long – I don’t know of anyone that can fill those shoes when the time comes.

I missed Rush’s announcement that his cancer is progressing. Dangit. I was wondering what was going on when he said that they wouldn’t be restocking their online store.

He was on yesterday, was this posted on Monday, if so, I didn’t see it. here is one link; Cancer-stricken Rush Limbaugh says he can no longer deny he’s ‘under a death sentence’.

Cancer-stricken talk radio legend Rush Limbaugh provided listeners a somber update on his condition Monday after recent scans showed “some progression of cancer,” which he said is “not dramatic” but still a step in the wrong direction.
Limbaugh announced in February that he was diagnosed with advanced lung cancer and had missed several shows this month to undergo treatment.
“It’s tough to realize that the days where I do not think I’m under a death sentence are over,” Limbaugh continued. “Now, we all are, is the point. We all know that we’re going to die at some point, but when you have a terminal disease diagnosis that has a time frame to it, then that puts a different psychological and even physical awareness to it.”

“I feel very blessed to be here speaking with you today. Some days are harder than others. I do get fatigued now. I do get very, very tired now. I’m not gonna mislead you about that. But I am extremely grateful to be able to come here to the studio and to maintain as much normalcy as possible — and it’s still true,” he said. “You know, I wake up every day and thank God that I did. I go to bed every night praying I’m gonna wake up.”

    My #10.

It must’ve been in the 80’s, not the 70’s. It was in a parking garage downtown, so must’ve been late 80’s. In the 70’s I was either in college or working at a different location.

Still, he’s been a big part of my life for a long time.

I remember keeping a radio on low volume at my desk so I could listen while I wrote code. I tried to listen on lunch breaks in the corporate world, but when I came home to work for Hubby, it was 3 hours every day. All of my Office Helpers have been exposed to conservative thought while in my employ. I think I converted a few of them.

#13, 14: I started listening in the early 90s. Dad tried to get me to listen earlier, while in the car, but I threw in the towel after one of his 10 commercial long barrages. My only complaint about the Limbaugh show is that he plays too many commercials by a factor of 4 or 5. This is a big complaint that causes me to turn it off on a fairly regular basis.

President Reagan ordered the broadcasting regulations at the FCC changed in 1987 to eliminate the “Fairness Doctrine”.  An old radio veteran named John McLaughlin had signed up Rush Limbaugh and brought him to New York City in anticipation of the rule change.  WABC with the largest audience in America was the logical choice to launch Rush’s show.  The show came on the air on, I think, August 1st, 1988.

In the meantime, no radio station in Houston would take on Rush’s show until they found Dan Patrick broadcasting from Tomball with his little KSEV.  I happened to turn on the radio in Bellville on the one year anniversary day in the summer of 1989 and heard this guy.  I didn’t know who he was, but I could not believe he was getting away with it on the radio.  I listened everyday for a week or two before I even told Shannon about Rush.

In the fall of 1988 a guy at worked asked me if I knew about that guy on the radio named Rush. He was on AM 700 Dan’s 500 watt station with the old Midland CB for a transmitter. I first heard him in In January of 1989 and he was picking the Football playoffs by their names in PC fashion, IE Dolphins, Tigers good Vikings, Patriots bad. I think that it was his humor that got me started and I’ve listened to him when I could all these years. He never ceases to amaze me with his intuitive instinct and they he can always see through any of the BS. He he doesn’t make it the country will lose their best communicator for conservative normal thought.

#17 Yes, I always said that Rush was at the right place at the right time and he was of course the very first and there have been many copycats but none can come close to Rush. The all time worse was Hannity. He would come on after Rush and it always seem that he just listened to Rush and his show was just a repeat. I gave him the benefit of the doubt since the main topics were the political news of the day until Rush had some obscure story that no one had heard about and you guessed it, Hannity had the same show. BTW; I do not like him and the wife who has never been real political until we retired started watching Hannity after I finished watching Fox for the day and she liked him. About three weeks later she said what I’ve been saying all along, that Hannity just repeats the same tired lines over and over. You can tune in today, watch the show and then find one from 2 years ago and it’s basically the same thing without the updates.

  20. Tedtam Avatar

    Hannity:

      Repetition gets boring
You are never “the only one” telling this story
Your mantras need to stop. There are only so many times I can hear your long catchphrases.
Give your guests time to finish their thoughts. It ain’t all about you, even though it’s your show.
About your martial arts training and how tough you are: Frankly my dear, I don’t…

If I listen to Hannity, it’s to hear his guests.

It wasn’t just the private investors devastated in the corrupt Obama bailout of General Motors back in 2009.  More than 20,000 non-union GM workers had their pension funds stolen.

It is nauseating to read this.

Obama Officials Who Helped Slash Pensions for Delphi Workers Shower Joe Biden with Campaign Cash

In 2009, as part of the Obama-Biden administration’s taxpayer-funded bailout of General Motors (GM), the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) terminated the pension plans of about 20,0000 non-unionized Delphi workers. In some cases, workers had their pensions gutted by as much as 75 percent.

A federal report in 2013 detailed that the Delphi workers would likely have their pensions cut by an estimated $440 million. Meanwhile, GM topped off unionized Delphi workers’ pensions at a cost of about $1 billion.

In 2012, federal documents unveiled how the Obama-Biden administration’s Treasury Department worked to gut the pensions of the Delphi workers. In other emails, PBGC officials indicated they had the green light from the Obama-Biden administration to slash the pensions.

Democrats boasted that they used ballot harvesting to flip seven House seats in California that year including four in Orange County. Before this year’s March primary, hospitality unions threw a “ballot party” for workers outside of Anaheim hotels.

“If they couldn’t stop these practices, Republicans decided to join them. They’ve also learned to harvest ballots more efficiently by setting up drop boxes at shooting ranges, churches, gun shops and GOP offices. Due to the limestone formations in the region, Northampton became a global center for the manufacturing of cement. Derek Hunter offers his takedown of Springsteen.

Bruce Springsteen has spent his whole career rewriting the same “story” as a song. Here’s every Springsteen song rolled into one:

Becky’s dad doesn’t approve of the guy she’s dating, probably named Johnny, but she’s not going to let that stop their love. The factory has closed or is about to, making life in this small town even tougher than it was before. The young lovers are going to meet somewhere, probably on the outskirts of town, and go off to start their lives together, even though the odds are stacked against them. (Cue the guitar or horns.)

Enough already. Bruce Springsteen is the most overrated musician in history, followed closely by Jon Bon Jovi, who apes Bruce’s style while spending more time on his hair.

Maybe it’s something about New Jersey that makes crappy musicians, I don’t know. But I do know that being lectured, lyrically or otherwise, about how rough it is out there by a multimillionaire with a guitar and a guy on the payroll whose only job is to rip the sleeves off jean jackets to make him seem “edgy” is not talent, it’s a marketing gimmick.

BLACK FOREST, Colo. – A Black Forest woman who told Colorado Parks and Wildlife officers she took a days-old fawn into her home more than a year and raised it has been cited with two misdemeanors after the deer, now a young buck, gored a neighbor last week.

According to CPW, the attack comes after CPW wildlife officers received tips that a neighbor of the victim was feeding the 1 ½-year-old buck – and even raised it after it was orphaned – in violation of state law.

CPW had been investigating the tips, but officers had been unable to verify the claims, or catch the neighbor in the act of feeding the deer, before Friday’s attack.

The victim suffered serious lacerations to the top of her head, her left cheek and her legs. She was taken by ambulance to a Colorado Springs hospital for treatment of her injuries. She is expected to recover.

This required CPW officers to track and euthanize the animal.

They will beat you into submission or until you’re broke and destitute.

A.B. Tellez, owner of Rosie’s Diner in Monument, took the CRA’s warning seriously and spent about $700 to have a website programmer modify his site to be in compliance as soon as he heard about the threat.

Tellez told Complete Colorado he was sued in 2017 after activists came to the diner with measuring tapes and then claimed that his paper towel dispensers in the bathrooms were mounted one-half inch too high, his wall-mounted outdoor handicap parking signs were mounted an inch too high, and painted handicap parking space lines were three inches too narrow.

80-y.0. next-door neighbor Ken has turned his back yard into a fish habitat. Half of it was an artificial grotto since we moved in next door 25 yrs ago, and then it was goldfish he fancied. Since his wife died 3-4 yrs ago, he has turned his swimming pool into another fish habitat. He has some quite large fish in that one, which I saw yesterday.

His house has a “quarters” area at the back, which worked well for his ailing wife’s live-in home-care workers the last few years of her life. After her death, he decided to offer free living space to a veteran in exchange for taking care of the place (and his 2 chihuahuas) when he was travelling. So the veteran he found through the VA has worked out well — practically a member of the family by this time — says he saw a coyote in their back yard a couple of nights ago. Head count over there showed several of the largest fish were missing from both pools.

No one can figure out how a coyote could have gotten into that yard, surrounded by a 10′ high fence. They have occasionally seen raccoons in the yard, but raccoons climb extremely well.  Ken has admitted to me that his live-in guard feeds possums, probably some of the same ones I do, but possums climb even better than raccoons.

We’ve checked and there are no holes between our yard and his, so it’s a mystery how a coyote could have gotten in. Of course, they have set up a wide-angle game camera, but seen nothing yet.

I’m thinking that Coke-Hunter Biden left the smoking gun laptop at the shop on purpose – as a cry for help. He knew he was nothing but a money mule for Joe and each time he did the dirty deed, he felt like a prostitute. To cover these feelings, he self medicated and worked out on hookers. To say that he may have some “daddy issues” would be the understatement of the century.
Joe Biden is the personification of graft and corruption. Jill Biden is a greedy, self serving shrew for putting Joe out there for one more grift. She think more about possibly being FLOTUS than letting Joe live out the rest of his corrupt life in dignity.
I almost feel sorry for Hunter; the rest can go die in a fire.

Rumors was it was going to be storage lot, a Walmart???, then the always faithful Dinosaur Park. People moaning their view after all these years is being destroyed, this should not be allowed! It’s not part of the POA! Wait, didn’t your lot used to be wooded? Hmmm? That’s different!!

Over the following decades, American institutions were constantly inflamed by one or another form of anti-Americanism. A ruling class emerged that is defined, as Anton writes, by “contempt and hatred for America and its history.” A self-hating American ruling class has instrumentalized and weaponized the progressive administrative state and its claims to expertise in order to destroy what is left of American constitutionalism and crush the people who wish to be governed by it. The original progressives were content to wage a war of supremacy against the old Constitution. Once they beat down its principle and spirit, they were content to let the letter of it stand. The New Left’s partisans fight a much more brutal war, a war not of supremacy but of extermination. Their objective is revolution: to reduce the old Constitution to ashes.

    Oh Holy Crap.

Rudy Giuliani handed over “very, very sensitive” text messages to the Delaware State Police that are allegedly from Hunter Biden to his father, former Vice President Joe Biden. In the text messages, Hunter allegedly accused his sister-in-law and former lover, Hallie Biden, of telling Hunter’s therapist that he was sleeping with a 14-year-old girl.

Just read this column by Bryan Preston on PJMedia at 8:49 PM EDT on news breaking about Hunter Biden.

Back in 2008, the New York Times wrote an interesting article on Joe Biden during his vetting to be the Vice Presidential pick for Senator Obama. The article was about Hunter Biden getting a $100K yearly payment from a credit card company while his father, then Sen. Joe Biden, worked on legislation that would make it more difficult for people to dump their credit card debt when they filed for bankruptcy.

    Wow.

The other troubling part of this story is the call itself, which reads like some kind of Deep-State media plotting session. Did anyone catch that? While everyone is distracted by Toobin’s lubin’, the description of this Zoom meeting is going largely uncommented on.

    Vice reported:

Two people who were on the call told VICE separately that the call was an election simulation featuring many of the New Yorker’s biggest stars: Jane Mayer was playing establishment Republicans; Evan Osnos was Joe Biden, Jelani Cobb was establishment Democrats, Masha Gessen played Donald Trump, Andrew Marantz was the far right, Sue Halpern was left wing democrats, Dexter Filkins was the military, and Jeffrey Toobin playing the courts. There were also a handful of other producers on the call from the New Yorker and WNYC.

    *********************

An election simulation? What are these people playing at? Coup 2? I’m a reporter and my newsroom doesn’t hold conference calls simulating what we want to happen and gaming different scenarios. We just report what happens. What is the purpose of this “simulation”?

Maybe this is why we lose the media game and we should start doing these simulations and get our narrative together ahead of time, but we’ve literally never even thought of doing this. That’s how honest and naive we are! I think I need to see this Zoom call. In the interest of finding out what the media is doing to undermine our Republic, I think we need the tape (and no one believes this was not being recorded). Let’s see what the media is plotting for November 4. They can edit out the Toobin show. I want to know what Jane Mayer, Masha Gessen, Andrew Marantz, Sue Halpern, Dexter Filkins, and Toobin are cooking up for November.
