Good morning troubadours. Bright sunshine again this day out there. It’s a travel day for me as I make a trip to Dallas. I’m hoping that I don’t get caught up in any insurrections along the way. Who knows what kind of madness our betters have in store for us today. I’m pretty sure this uprising was in the planning stages for quite some time, just waiting for an opportunity to arise to spring it on our nation. These “leaders” are well trained instigators. I noticed that the ones carrying the megaphones are not shouting at the buildings and clouds and police – no they are shouting at their rabble raised crowds, giving them directions as to what to do next. Trump is making a good effort to balance the free speech rights of the true protestors while not tolerating the hoodlums and thugs – but I’m pretty certain that they are all one in the same. These mobs best rid themselves of the thugs if they want to retain any credibility whatsoever. When they move into the suburbs, the shooting will start in earnest, so don’t look for that to happen any time soon. They would rather loot and burn their own neighborhoods and call it urban renewal as they beg the tax payers for money to rebuild. What few stores may have been located in those areas are not coming back, so what was once a slum will now become a burned out slum. Sad but true.
OK, you all have a great day, and I’ll try to report in later as the road trip evolves. Don’t let the hairycane get you.

Looks like the thousands (probably hundreds of thousands) of dollars Drew Brees has spent helping New Orleans don’t buy much good will.

65 TexMoI only lived for a brief period in a neighborhood with an HOA.
Say it isn’t so! You mean people can live in neighborhoods without a HOA and still survive?!? The neighborhood doesn’t self destruct? As the millenials like to say, “Mind Blown”. 🙂

#2 – Maybe he’s now the designated villain. In wresting, you have to have the clean cut good guy and the cheating, sneaking bad guy to get the crowd in to it. So it’s his turn to play bad guy. Hey, they don’t pay him the big bucks to play quarterback, they pay him the big bucks to sell tickets. It’s time for him to wear the black hat for a while. Wrestling is all the same after a while.

Following up on the video of the Latino who calls himself “Smooth Sanchez” running around NYC making white women (doesn’t attempt it with men) kneel in subservience to BLM and apologize for being white, I came across this video from last Sunday right here in Houston. A so-called preacher divides his congregation up by race and makes the honkies get on their knees and beg for forgiveness for simply being white.
-
I will kneel to no one but God.

My history of HOA’s: In developing new subdivisions, the developer does not want shabby neighbors blighting the subdivisions while it is still under development. They want to keep it pristine so that prospective purchasers will come in and say “hey, this is a nice neighborhood and I’d like to live here.” So they created and controlled HOA’s which gave them to power to maintain the subdivision to their liking and literally force out any undesirables. But, once the subdivision was sold out, the developer no longer had an interest in what happened to it, and the actual homeowners could assume control. Of course, the ones who had been there the longest initially took over, and they had plenty of clauses to keep the blacks, in some cases the jooooos (pronounced “juice” in some circles), and other perceived undesirables out, so they ruled the roost. So it allowed for discrimination, all for the good of the neighborhood of course. But eventually, the Karens moved in in sufficient strength to take political control of the neighborhood, and what originally was in place to keep the neighborhood presentable evolved into a full fledged political entity, complete with rules for everything, and enforcement arm, and creating a class of smug virtue signalers in the hood. So there you have it. Just because you own it doesn’t actually mean you own it.

I would rather die on my feet than live on my knees.
Every wannabe revolutionary of Mexican descent has this quote attributed to Emiliano Zapata framed on a wall in their house.
Every white trust fund baby has it on a t-shirt and attributes it to Che Guevara.
All cultural appropriation. The reality is it was ancient Greek tragedian Euripides who said it first. Viva Western Civilization!
-
#5 Hamous: Were I in that congregation, I would loudly denounce such action as racist and divisive. It would be the last time I went there.
-

And the chickens. Don’t forget the evil chickens.

Apparently Kim Gardner, DA St. Louis, has released all the rioters and looters arrested. She received big support from the NAZI ally, George Soros.

#11, probably gave them bus tickets to be in Houston on Tuesday as well.

We have an interesting HOA. Our corner of the division was built before they decided to have one, and we are exempted from it. The rest want to force us in from time to time but so far no success. This was also a gated community. They thought they were clever to hand road maintenance over to the county. The lawyer across the road whose kids liked to short cut through found out and sued. These are publicly funded roads and off went the gates. All before we moved here. Was a sore point with the in-laws who were here at the time.
-
Since we were forced out of our faincy “forever” dream home due to skyrocketing property taxes the HOA has gone nuts. The subdivision has a 150 acre lake and they got in a spat with one of the homeowners over who was responsible for dredging, homeowners won in court, were awarded something like ten grand, since we have left they have had at least two “one time” fees for each property owner of $600 or more, on top of the normal $900 HOA annual fee. We got out just in time 6-7 years ago.

That do called preacher is of his father the devil.
A product of systemic black racism.

If you’re gonna go out and join a violent mob, make sure you also practice good hygiene so you don’t catch Kung flu.
Health experts urged protesters not to sing and shout to reduce the threat of person-to-person transmission. And they cautioned that police tactics such as tear gas and pepper spray could exacerbate the situation by prompting people to cough and gasp for air.

The totalitariancrats have decided to use George Floyd as their new Reichstag fire.
They don’t care about his death they only care about the opportunity it provides for them to seize total control and power.
-
17, spreading the disease among themselves doesn’t sound like something to be discouraged.
-
Karens get off having power over hundreds of homeowners. They are more than garden variety busy bodies. They’re sick in the head. Like Leftists. Unreasonable, angry, lonely, low-achievers.

17. When your lungs fill up with fluid from catching the rona that “I can’t breathe” mask becomes a double entendre.

I think a cool trick would be to start running up to people wearing those masks and giving them the Heimlich maneuver.

Morning, y’all. I have an appointment today to see my vein doc. The work was done on Feb 10 and 11, and the imaging to see the results was done on Mar 1. I have not yet gotten those results, due to Covid-19 interference with normal life. For 3 entire months, the only way to get those results was by e-meeting, which I was never able to pull off. Still don’t understand why the doc could not just tell me the results in a phone call.
When I got the call this morning to confirm that I would be there, nothing was said about wearing a mask to the appointment, but of course I will be doing that.
-
A prediction:
All NFL games will begin with a Tribute to George Floyd that will feature all players taking a knee.
This will allow the owners to ignore Social Distancing rules and fill the stadiums.
-
In my experience, all of these online Doctor portals suck.
My arrhythmia specialist is world class. Teaches others how to insert catheters inside a beating heart and burn dozens of specific locations inside with a hot poker.
But he wouldn’t know a decent web portal if it bit him on the ankle.

Doctors spend 60+ hours a week dealing with the public in a high-stress, pressure cooker environment.
They’re sitting ducks for all manner of salesmen and con artists.

Got a call last night – our new tenants in our river property have bedbugs. I sprayed that unit myself, twice. Hubby thinks they brought ’em in, but they insist the bites didn’t start until after they moved in.
I’ve had experience with those spawn of Hell. They can survive for months without a food source (people), and those that Hubby brought home just giggled at the original spray I bought from our janitorial service, who swore they sold me top stuff.
We cooked my bedroom (‘sploded my air filled mattress because I didn’t think to deflate it before pumping 120 degrees of heat into the space for six hours.) It might’ve done some good. I had a hand steamer that we bought for apartment work, and I repeatedly steamed my mattress, especially the seams, to kill any eggs and larvae.
But what really did the trick was Wondercide (TM thingie). That stuff is magic. The smell of cedar will forever remind me of the bedbug horror, but I will admit that I gained a certain amount of satisfaction in seeing the six legged demons of despair curl up and die in front of my eyes. It is non-toxic, safe for pets, kids, and expectant moms. It didn’t stain anything I owned. It’s not residual, so I kept spraying my room for weeks, probably longer than necessary.
I drove down my leftover Wondercide (TM thingie) to the river unit. The tenants were sleeping elsewhere, and God bless ’em, they had bags and bags and bags of their clothing outside in the garage and on the porch. The tenant had been reading up on how to kill the damn things, and black bagging in the hot sun is one way to do it. The spray would be better, though, and faster. It’s hard to get enough heat past the out inch or so of the bagged items. And it could take days, if not weeks, to accomplish the goal. And we’re due for a bunch of cloudy days here, so that’s even longer.
I’ve ordered a 32 oz bottle of concentrate for them. These folks are PERFECT for this unit – love the place and are willing to kill snakes. It’s worth $80 or more to keep them there.
When I go out of town, I always check my room before bringing my luggage in. Folks may laugh, but they haven’t had to fight the Scourge from Hell.
Bedbugs. They rank right up there with poverty pimps, abortion providers, and Antifa.

How dangerous are bird droppings to human health?
Histoplasmosis is a respiratory disease that may be fatal. It results from a fungus growing in dried bird droppings. It is a dimorphic fungus that can be either in yeast form or in filamentous form.
Candidiasis is a yeast or fungus infection spread by pigeons. The disease affects the skin, the mouth, the respiratory system, the intestines and the urogenital tract, especially the vagina. It is a growing problem for women, causing itching, pain and discharge.
Cryptococcosis is caused by yeast found in the intestinal tract of pigeons and starlings. The illness often begins as a pulmonary disease and may later affect the central nervous system. Since attics, cupolas, ledges, schools, offices, warehouses, mills, barns, park buildings, signs, etc. are typical roosting and nesting sites, the fungus is apt to found in these areas.
St. Louis Encephalitis, an inflammation of the nervous system, usually causes drowsiness, headaches and fever. It may even result in paralysis, coma or death.
St. Louis encephalitis occurs in all age groups, but is especially fatal to persons over age 60. The disease is spread by mosquitoes which have fed on infected house sparrow, pigeons and house finches carrying the Group B virus responsible for St. Louis encephalitis.Salmonellosis often occurs as “food poisoning” and can be traced to pigeons, starlings, sparrows and other rodents. The disease bacteria are found in bird droppings; dust from droppings can be sucked through ventilators and air conditioners, contaminating food and cooking surfaces in restaurants, homes and food processing plants.
E.coli infection: It is one of the common infection caused by an enteric bacteria. This bacteria often traced in the fecal matters. When some bird or rodent visit such sites they carry these and spread to humans. Such as when birds peck on cow manure, the E. coli (O157:H7) go right through the birds and the bird droppings can land on or in a food or water supply. It’s a dangerous world out there.

My neighborhood has a Civic Club which is like a toothless HOA. Fees are voluntary and entitle you to vote for the board. They do the yard judging and organize the 4th of July parade. Other than that, they are basically a campaign event organizer for local democrat politicians. The only reason I go to the meetings is for pure entertainment purposes, the Larouchites usually show up to harass the candidates.
Over a decade ago I got intimately involved when the board tried to pull a fast one and convert to an HOA. We organized a campaign to let the residents know what tomfoolery was afoot. The entire board did not seek reelection when their shenanigans failed.
You can make such changes only once every 10 years so we just have to be relaxed but vigilant.

#33 – I’m thinkin ole Drew “should have seen this PC crap backlash” coming.
Sad that He felt the need to apologize IMHO

In totalitarincrat Amerika you will no longer be allowed a differing opinion.

Hamous, if you don’t mind my asking, what is your company’s policy regarding pay when an employee has the virus? Our victim with no symptoms I feel is playing games, he’s been out since April 30th! Each test has taken weeks to get results and he makes every excuse not to go to the clinic the rest of us went to and got results in three days. Boss’s have been, and have felt like they should be paying him. I’m wondering where does this end.
Of course a firing means unemployment for life and we get to be on the evening news. So frustrating.
-
The NFL will remain dead to me.
-
This IS the r3gr3ssive’s revolution.
Submit to them. Period.
Any differing opinion and you will be punished.
Brees just proved it.
-
37. GJT
They take pto until it runs out then it’s time off without pay unless they have short term disability insurance. The only time we would pay them would be if they contracted the virus at work, but then it would be a worker’s comp case and the insurance pays them. To date we haven’t had a single case of person to person transmission at work.
-
Sad that He felt the need to apologize IMHO
I suspect he had three choices: 1) Grovel to his black slavemasters. 2) Keep playing and have his legs broken (or worse) on the field. 3) Retire. He chose to grovel.

I think white celebrities should just say “I prefer to keep my thoughts on that subject to myself, I consider them private.”
But then, that would subjugation as well.

Arrived safely in Big D earlier. Truck and auto traffic along my route has returned to normal traffic pattern, and there is a good deal of construction underway. In other words, this state is open again. No signs of distress at the neighborhood Walmart. Employees were all wearing masks and were friendly as usual. Dallas has the typical incompetent liberal Mayor and a black Chief of Police that had to go to police school to get certified as a peace officer following her appointment as chief. She and that little girl who is co. judge in Houston would make a good match. But outward appearances are OK for now.
No nap for me today, so it may be an early bedtime tonight. You all have a great evening.
-
Already, we see examples of how this will play out. This week, Sacramento Kings play-by-play announcer Grant Napear, who has called NBA games since 1988, resigned after tweeting “ALL LIVES MATTER” Sunday night in response to a question from former Kings star DeMarcus Cousins asking him for his take on the Black Lives Matter movement.
Within days, Napear had also lost his popular sports talk radio show.

When I last visited LD & Fam, the girls both had a wiggly tooth – same tooth in each mouth. LD said that last night, Sunshine’s tooth was hanging “by a thread,” but she would chicken out at the last minute when it came to pulling it. They are both at summer school together.
Today, L’il Darlin’s tooth exited her oral cavity on its own. Her sister then asked the teacher to pull her tooth, which the teacher refused, wanting Mom and Dad to have that moment when the first tooth falls. Sunshine didn’t want to be outdone by her sister, so she got a friend to pull it out for her.
So, the tooth fairy has double duty tonight, both of the girls are excited, and Sunshine has the next wobbly tooth in the making.
They are growing up so fast. /sigh

The reason white liberals hate it when black people like myself say white privilege is a lie is because they hate that we refuse to allow them to think they’re better than us. That’s it. Thats the tweet.

And… when you look at the comments to his tweets, you recognize so many names: Dan Bongino, Thomas Sowell…

R.I.P. Jimmy Capps
NASHVILLE — Jimmy Capps, a versatile guitarist who played on some of the biggest country hits of the 1970s and ’80s and was a member of the Grand Ole Opry’s house band for more than five decades, died here on Monday. He was 81.
Known among his peers as the “master of smoothness” for his seemingly effortless technique, Mr. Capps was a guitarist on signature hits like Tammy Wynette’s “Stand By Your Man,” George Jones’s “He Stopped Loving Her Today” and Barbara Mandrell’s “I Was Country When Country Wasn’t Cool.”
He also contributed the filigreed acoustic guitar figure to Kenny Rogers’s “The Gambler” and the gutbucket electric guitar riff to the Oak Ridge Boys’ “Elvira.”

Here’s my take. Let’s not forget we’re dealing with the Ritalin/Adderall generation. 98% of the white protesters have just about reached peak protest and their ADD is kicking in. They’re just about ready to move on to the next cause du jour. That’ll leave only the BLM goons and there just ain’t enough of them. Then we can put a coda on this stupid year. And there’s already an album cover for it:

If you haven’t listened to Candace Owens’ rant about black adulation of George Floyd, she is worth the 18 minutes.

Y’all realize that Ritalin and Adderall are methamphetamines, right? We’ve created an entire generation of legal crankmonsters.

Here’s another must-read, well, actually 2 in this link:
I never heard of John Dowd, but I enjoyed his take-down of Mattis.
Then I did a back-flip over Trump’s tweet(s) to Mattis.
