Judge Amy Berman Jackson really should be impeached and removed from the court, and disbarred for her blatant violations of basic impartiality. That she allowed the forwhorperson to not be stricken, even though she was obviously hopelessly biased, is grounds for a dismissal of all charges.
Morning gang. Wow, I wake up this morning, get my coffee, come sit down on the couch, and discover that the world is coming to an end right before my very eyes. Famine, pestilence, disease – where will it end? Maybe the dinosaurs will make a come back. Meanwhile, I’m just gonna sit back out here and watch outside to see what happens next. Maybe Bernie will win the Presidential race, but more likely, hiliary will be the nominee and will fail once again. BTW, if you don’t believe that the Dems are working 24/7 to turn Texas blue, using every trick they can find, legal or not, then you are not paying attention. The level of fraudulent voting this time around will be unprecedented, and then there will be fraudulent vote counting, fraudulent vote reporting, and anything else you can think of. The Dems are calling for unity while ignoring any claims for sanity. The good news is that I’m old enough to stand my ground without fear of reprisal, so as they say, keep your powder dry. Don’t ant Texas turning into something like Houston or Dallas.

Here at election time, it probably would not hurt to name those Senators out loud. Everyone knew that the fix was in when she randomly got assigned all the cases brought by Mueller – amazing luck of the draw there. She is a know activist judge, but you can’t impeach judges for their rulings – only for misbehavior, illegal acts, etc. The only hope really would be to try to get her peer judges to disown her, to isolate her, and to come down publically on her decisions – but the Chief Justice ways there are no Obama judges, only federal judges, so that’s not likely to happen. But there is no question about it – she’s white trash to the highest power.
BTW, she was approved by the Senate 97-0. Cornholio and Hutchinson were both yeas.

Yep, I think you solved my problem regarding the Big Wheel. The location fits well with my memories of a drive out into the country, on a road that was an extension of S. Lamar. But there was an actual wooden wagon wheel near the entrance. Leaning up against a porch railing or maybe a big rock. Inside, I remember eating in a room that was diner-like, with booths lining the walls.

In Texas, sheriffs are elected by County voters, are County employees, and their departments are financed by County budgets.
For some reason I’ve been derelict in reminding you all that the Battle of the Alamo has been underway for 3 days now, a few years ago. I don’t think there is a more inspiring story that Texas battle for independence, for freedom, and for a government trying to impose its will on others. I know today of not one single weasely politician who would be willing to back up his words with his personal honor and his life. Without venturing off into the woods there, he seems to be to want to do the right thing regardless of personal or political considerations. Anyway, there are a number of Texas history sites out there that feature a day by day history of the events leading up to the Texas revolution, and the significance of the Battle of the Alamo in keeping the Mexican army occupied for a couple of weeks in a situation that should have been over in a matter of hours.

Biden did say that 150 million people had died in gun violence. Everyone sort of let that pass by, so I didn’t get the exact time frame or geographic reference, but I assume that most people here on the couch realize that 150 million people is about half the population of the United States.
I heard they paid the shrews over at The View to choreograph tonight’s debate. I think they did a good job overall, but they really do need to do something about Pokehauntas and her constant screeching. She can screech hiliary under the table I think. I don’t understand the first thing about how Dems feel (I know they do not think) about various candidates, so I have no idea if anyone was moved one direction or the other by tonight’s clusterfark.
