Well, I complete the Patton movie and thoroughly enjoyed it since it’s been a good while since I last saw it. Just continued rain, so I’m staying in like I had good sense or something. I’ll just watch something else on Fox for a while longer and give it up after that. More later.
If my daughter drove 1,100 miles all the way from Midland, Texas to south Alabama and brought me only two dozen, instead of at least twelve dozen tamales, she would be in deep, deep trouble.
My godparents taught me how to make menudo so I’m set should I leave Texas.

Dang, I just took Dawg out and it is getting cold outside, 58 right now. It has been real warm for the last couple of weeks, 68 when I got up this morning, topped out at 76, 80 yesterday, but it may get down to freezing on Monday.
One Alabaman thing I just can’t cotton to, and I’m 1/4 Alabaman, is that nasty white barbecue sauce. Whoever invented that crime against humanity should be drawn and quartered.
Nope. No chitlins. Or any of the rest.

When daughter was here for Christmas, I fixed a few of her favorites, Poke Chops, with smashed taters N gravy, green beans and leftover turnips from my garden, oh and those are Kelly’s frozen biscuits.
This was before Christmas dinner. …..Oh and real Mac N Cheese.
