Everyone should read this and watch the video.
And it should worry the hell out of you.
Bring back trust busting.

Need to get some chores done today, tomorrow for sure. Now, where’s that list I was working on. OK, doesn’t look like weather will be a factor, unless you count heat as a problem. You all have a great day, and I’ll keep you posted as news develops.

Fifth! Slept in until 6:30, starting second cup of coffee. Life is Good!

Since I’m not here often enough, I miss the good stuff, from yesterday;
There shouldn’t be warthogs in Texas. That’s why we have 20 ft pythons in the Everglades.
The warthog left to procreate on its own in the wild would become just as bad a problem or probably worse than the aisle hog problem.
Although….aisle hogs haven’t really been too much of an issue…except in hipster Kroger
😀

Conservative Treehouse has an extensive, detailed explanation of where we are with the Inspector General’s Draft Report on the Clinton investigation.

Tis Friday, some surf guitar.

RUTRO!
A school district in Santa Fe, Texas has initiated a lockdown and triggered a “major law enforcement response” after reports of a shooter on a high-school campus. It’s not clear whether this is still an ongoing threat or if the lockdown is cautionary.
-
Shooter apprehended according to Assistant Principle – KHOU
-
KHOU says one Federal agent and one Galveston County LEO have confirmed to KHOU that there are multiple fatalities.

DUMBAX COP, one who is charged with enforcing the law, doesn’t know the difference between a morrell mushroom and a psylicybin (sp?) or magic mushroom.
The idiot was scanning Faceborg and hit on mushroom, then assumed they were verbotten, even though there was a picture of the mushroom. Crapola like this is how innocent people get kilt! -
I’m off to hug grandbabies today. I’m all jiggery inside.
Great to be me. Sucks to be y’all.
My cuddle tank has been empty for waaaaay too long.

The cop should have watched my foraging videos from yesterday. The morel mushroom was one of the featured items.
Favorite comment: “That cop can eat shiitake.”

Morning, denizens of the Couch. I moved water sprinklers for 5 hrs yesterday, and am going to finish up today. I really waited too long to start watering my yard.

We got to see the grandkids last weekend for granddaughter’s sixth birthday but they were both still kinda pukey from a stomach virus that went thru their house. What a sucky BD for her.
BTW, she was borned on Mama’s day, turns out six years cycles back to the 13th being on Mother’s Day. At least counting or not counting leap years.

Sam Malone was being interviewed on WABC up here but I had to get out of the vehicle and didn’t get to hear the local take.

A bottle 60-year old Hebridean Holy Water sold for a bit over $1 million.
That’s a little over $13k a shot.

Good morning Hamsters. Have been reading with great interest an article by our own wonderful conservative Louie Gohmert that is linked to in the comments to Shannon’s #7 from the Conservative Treehouse. It’s among the first of the comments there and contains a link to Louie’s scathing indictment of Special Counsel Mueller’s nefarious history, scarcely the saint he’s supposed to be.
It’s 48 pages long, is required reading if you want to see Mueller taken apart piece by piece by Louie whose legal experience is long and strong. Need a cup of coffee to start off, but as you get into it, I recommend something in an adult beverage, preferably a stiff adult beverage. It is damning, and not by faint praise.
Oh, and the article above the comments is darned good also, but the one on Mueller is the piece de resistance bonus.
-
This sure sucks. No definitive info on casualty count.

More from The Last Refuge…

Will Camera Hogg get to Santa Fe before the governor? I hear CNN has its jet standing by. The ghouls are gathering as we speak. Now there is no way that some kid in Santa Fe can do all this prep work without someone else knowing something is going on. Guess the Mueller story was getting too hot and the media/Dem complex had to go to its tried and true relief valve to get Mueller off the front page. I’m now convinced that these things are not happening in a vacuum, and they are not isolated incidents. Just too well organized.
-
Not sure how well the gungrabbing shock troops will be received in Sante Fe.
But be assured they will throw everything they’ve got at an opportunity to put on their dog and pony show in Texas. And Galveston County has lots of libs and has for a long time.

Santa Fe had a pretty rough reputation when we were growing up. It may be that you can still get pulled over there for Driving While Black. The high school is 78% White, 19% Latino. Less than 1% Black.
I seem to recall that Texpat and a buddy got stopped there almost fifty years ago for Driving With Long Hair.
-
Time to ban long, dark coats.
-
What would a spy be able to wear? Their dark trench coats are their armor.
-
Hoodies. We can’t ban them.
-
FWIW; the name of the town, of the school shooting is “Alta Loma” the urban, upper crust, white mob, that moved there in droves, in the early 80’s, changed the name to Santa Fe, the name of the school district. Pizzed off the natives. 🙁
-
Santa Fe is upper crust?
Lordee. Who’da thunk. -

#s 25 & 28 – There seems to be something about Fridays eh?
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmaybe it’s merely a conspiracy “only” to achieve a 4 day school week??
……………………naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa 🙂

Media must be disappointed. No scary looking black guns involved.
-
Kudos to Channel 11 for calling out the lie that there have been “18 school shootings in 2018.”

Little wimp didn’t have the guts to kill himself. I’ll promise you the Dems will have him bumped off before he spills all the beans. This one has all the approved techniques: someone pulled fire alarm, check; pressure cooker, check; long gun, check; short gun, check; loner/loser, we don’t know yet; drugs, we don’t know yet; whatever else we don’t know yet. The coincidences are just too much. It’s got to be staged to get Mueller off the front page. Mark my words. One year ago would you really have believed the extent the dems have gone to in corrupting the DOJ, the FBI, and other intelligence agencies? Schumer knew when he warned Trump not to threaten the intelligencia. This is just another part of the swamp raising its ugly head. Nobody will raise it for fear of being labled a nut case, but everyone already knows that I’m a nut case so I’m free to do so.
Who runs the schools – the Dems
Who investigates the crime – the FBI
Who reports on what’s going on – the MSMWhat are the odds we ever find out the truth – not very good.
-
Busy, Busy, Busy,…been running around all day like a chicken with it’s head cut off, but I did accomplish something,…I think….. 😉
-
Santa Fe is upper crust?
Lordee. Who’da thunk.Well, maybe not all of em’, but back in the 80’s a whole bunch of upper middle class folks, bought 1, 3, and 5 acre lots down there because it was the last place that you could get any land within a fifty miles of Houston, that you could afford. Also they had a good school district. We thought about moving down there, but we were upside down in our house, after the oil bust and after refinancing the first time our payments were still real high so we had a hard time reducing the principle. Lastly, my wife and both worked in the Clear lake area by then and our 9-12, minutes commutes were very appealing.

With the recent shootings at high schools, colleges, and other public places, my ability to have the slightest interest in the motive of the perp is gone, GWTW. Don’t care, arrest the creature and throw it in the slammer if it survives the event, but now leaning more toward the event ending by having the coroner tote it away.

Well I topped off my “Blinker Fluid“, this afternoon, I sure seem to use a lot of that stuff, and that is unusual since I’ve not plowed through a covey of love bugs in a while.
-
#47 – SD wow!
I had no clue that RAINX produces WW fluid!!!
may have to try some o Dat!!

I’m with you, Adee. Trying to divine a rational motive for a mass murderer is … well … not rational.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm…………. hat tip to Ace
Hmmm… I wonder which of those the media will play up: the Satanist or Communist symbols, or the Iron Cross?
It’s a mystery to me. Could go either way!!!

I tried a similar product one time.
I was not pleased. At All.
Ran that crap out as soon as I could.Just sayin’

Just saw a clip of Nanzi sticking with “the president called all immigrants animals” meme. That was bad enough but she followed with “Doesn’t the president recognize that there is a spark of divinity in ALL humans???” This from a ghoul who never met a baby who shouldn’t be aborted. It was all I could do to keep from throwing a beer bottle at the TV.

Addendum to my #21, filed in the comment of Deplorable Infidel 5-16-18 at 7:08pm to Shannon’s #7 Conservative Treehouse link.
Finally finished reading all 48 pages of Louie Gohmert’s Mueller Unmasked, which is in fact a “Dossier” on Mueller that is a must read. Every last word.

#51 – duly noted Brother!

#47,48,51,54: I have tried the rain-x stuff before and found it to be really streaky. It does make the water run off faster, however. But it still leaves lots of streaks – which really sucks.
-
#48 #51, That particular brand of washer fluid is the
bestonly damn thing that I’ve used that does anything to clean off love bugs. NOTHING really works very good, but it’s the best I’ve found, if you have something better, I’m all ears. The place that I get my oil changed used to fill the tank up with that USELESS, blue crap which is not as good as tap water. Now, I always tell them to please not put it in the tank because I’ll just run it out and fill it with something that works to a fashion. -
Have heard a really nasty radio ad several times in recent days against the candidacy of Dan Crenshaw. It’s out of the Nazi Dem playbook accusing him of supporting everything the far left is for, snarky, and can surely be laid at the feet of his opponent or one of his henchmen/women.
Who in his/her right mind can vote for the disgusting creature running against him who would pull garbage like this? Smacks of sheer desperation and really, really bad advice.
-
#30 Shannon, didn’t ya’ll range around Katy and prairies north and west of there? Pretty far to go from there to find trouble in Santa Fe. Living a bit closer in Friendswood, they never had a Chevy that could beat a Pontiac.

#58 – back in the day there was lotsa shenanigans down hwy 6 ………

I had no clue that RAINX produces WW fluid!!!

My brother in Colorado advises that he is having his aortic valve replaced on Tuesday. I think he decided to go with the bacon version as opposed to the beef or the mechanical. I like to watch surgical videos on You Tube when I’m having a procedure, but man, that open chest stuff is pretty tough viewing. Actually the power saw cutting through the sternum is about the worst part as the rest is more detailed with fine instruments. He says about 4 months or so of recovery, so looks like I’ll be headed up there sometime around the first of June. I guess there are worse places to spend the summer.

I’m all ears.
Said Ross Perot and Barak “Dog Eater” Obummer.

Pretty far to go from there to find trouble in Santa Fe?
We did grow up (somewhat) on the West side of Houston. Permanent residents of Bellville as of 1972.
Either way, you might be surprised how far a young man will wander to acquire some …trouble.

With that song, all you have to do is close yours eyes and Boom, you’re on Hwy 6 at 1 in the AM. In 1973.

Hello this is Sunshine.
-
Noona is helping meeeeeee.
-
Hi Sunshine.
-
Welcome aboard!
-
This is the one and only Sunshine? Cool. Or from your origins, Howdy!
-
OK, whatever you do, please don’t buy that Rain X stuff! I stand corrected, it is crap!!! But, that said; I’ll continue to use it since I’m somewhat anal about being able to see out of my windscreen. I like it because it does a fair job of keeping the love bugs in check and I’ve NEVER, ever had any problem with streaking, but then again, I only use Bosch Wipers on my vehicles…..Goes back me to wanting to see outta’ the damn windscreen. 😉
-
Original RAINX is great.
But their windshield washer was a nightmare. -
Who is typing? Sunshine or Nooooonaaaa?
-
Prayers up, ELG.
-
I did not know that animal tissues were being used to repair human hearts. But since my husband had his triple bypass about 18 years ago, and has had no heart problems since then, I haven’t had to keep up with the latest advances. Is your brother in a part of Colorado with great hospitals? Please keep us advised of how this goes.
-
Noona was helping Sunshine…it lasted two posts and then the attention span thing hit.
Maybe tomorrow.
Best wishes for a full and speedy recovery, EG Bro. I’m grateful we live in a country where that kind of surgery is available.
-
EG – kneemail is UP for all the best results!

Sad good morning Hamsters. Yesterday’s carnage news is everywhere. At least the perp has been immediately charged with multiple counts of capital murder.
We don’t mess around in Texas on things like that. Unlike some other places where it takes longer for the squishes to muddle through events before deciding something like this was really serious stuff meriting the fullest extent of the laws in their jurisdictions. They worry about the why before they worry about the what.
-
Is it over? Gotta be the longest televised buggy ride ever.
-
A reporter for the Chron, obviously looking down her Patrician nose, describes the residents of Santa Fe as “working class.” Where does the Chron find these idiots?
On a much more kind note, the Chron reports that JJ Watt has said he will pay for the funerals of the victims. A gentleman whose value goes way far beyond his football abilities.

Oops, a day late and a dollar short,……
