Yes, I admit Calvin was me in the early years. My rejection of academia began when I was quite young. My parents, and various wonks who administered the IQ and aptitude tests, thought I was perfectly suited to waltz right into a nice, cushiony, suffocating professorship in adulthood. Not me. I was always raising hell and questioning the priests, patrones and hidalgos running the show.
