Tuesday Out of Control Open Comments

Angela Mekel has created her own crisis, one that could destroy Germany from the inside.

GERMAN Chancellor Angela Merkel is facing catastrophe over her failed migrant policy, according to a new report.

According to a report by the international policy council the Gatestone Institute, local police in many parts of the country admit that they are stretched to the limit.

The report states: “The rape of a ten-year-old girl in Leipzig, the largest city in Saxony, has drawn renewed attention to the spiralling [sic] levels of violent crime perpetrated by migrants in cities and towns across Germany.

“Thousands of migrants who entered the country as ‘asylum seekers’ or ‘refugees’ have gone missing. They are, presumably, economic migrants who entered Germany on false pretences.

“Many are thought to be engaging in robbery and criminal violence.”

According to Freddi Lohse of the German Police Union in Hamburg, many migrant offenders view the leniency of the German justice system as a green light to continue delinquent behaviour, says the report.

I’m a big believer in managing expectations.  These intruders – and I call them intruders because even if invited, once someone breaks rules and disrespects the host, they have overstayed their welcome – were never placed under any constraints before their arrival.  Their numbers were never managed, and the bleeding heart kindness of the liberals in Germany have now sealed the doom of their culture.  These migrants were originally invited because of the low German birth rate, and workers were needed.  Then, it was out of kindness, to help those who were deemed to be in desperate straits and needed help.  Now, the influx is too immense to manage, and the jihad of birth rates will eventually change Germany from its current culture into one of Islam, and one of the greatest countries ever will disappear.

So sad, but we need to learn this lesson.  If we are to retain our culture, we should be aware of the dangers being exhibited in Europe.

It looks like the states are jumping in to steal your retirement accounts before the Feds can do it.

#1 Shannon: This little tidbit in your horrifying link provides just a bit of comfort:

the law requires a 3 percent payroll deduction with the money going to the state for safekeeping—unless the employee opts out.

    Then there’s this:

On top of all of this, there’s one more predictable liberal step to come: taxing middle-class retirement savings in the name of reducing income inequality. On the eve of the passage of California’s forced retirement savings plan, the retirement board suggested that a 3 percent payroll deduction wasn’t enough—10 percent was the right amount.
But groups representing lower-income groups cried foul, saying they could only afford 3 percent. The solution to this inequity is inevitable: place a surcharge on middle-class retirement payroll deductions, and divert it into the retirement accounts of the working poor.

If you are smart enough to opt out of the system, do they still try and steal the other 7%?
The belief that government can save money for the individual and have better results than the individual doing it on his own has been demonstrated to be absolute folly so many times that it befuddles me that there are enough people to think “it will work this time because we are different and we know more now” simply astound me. It has never worked before and it will never work in the future.Period. Dot. Bingo.

    Speaking of…
I went to (no) show a unit we have for rent, and while waiting, I visited with the downstairs tenant. She’s a fave of mine, always smiling and has a good word, and even better – prompt with the rent!
She’s not a Clinton voter, but had no idea of the many scandals, mysterious murders, nor the health questions on Clinton. I spent a half hour showing her the news stories. I found a web site with the body count and description of the victims, and she sat there and scrolled through the names, muttering words of disbelief – that she had never heard of this list before.
I gave her a few other things to look up, and suggested she tell her friends and family before they voted.
PS: She has a LOT more pigment than I do, btw.

I just got back from All Saints Day mass with the school kids. I forgot how much longer those masses are. Father insists on showing off the kids in their costumes, and just shepherding those kids to and fro takes time.
But the little kindergartners in their saint costumes were pretty darn adorable.
And Father likes a good, resounding “AMEN!” so at the end of mass, it sounds like (all join in with Father):
In the name of THE FATHER,
    AND THE SON,
    AND THE HOLY SPIRIT
    AMEN! (SCREAMING OUT LOUD)
Quite different from the staid, calm, Sunday masses.

As usual for the past 30 years or so, no T or T’ers appeared at the front door last night after 6. Thought the new family with three kids who live on the other street might have come by, but they did not. Perhaps they had other plans and correctly determined that was preferable. So, we have a stash of Reese’s Pieces Dark Chocolate on hand just in case, bought at a sale price at the grocery store yesterday afternoon.
Squirrels finished off the pumpkins on the front porch and one gourd. Pounding on the windows only discouraged them briefly. However they did not like the swan-shaped green gourd at all and just inflicted speculative bites. On the back porch the pumpkins seem to be ok, and the squirrels are set on tearing off more binding from the outdoor rugs. If it weren’t for supporting the pumpkin patch at the neighborhood Methodist church, I could go for several fake pumpkins instead.

How accurate is this: The Amish vote clinches a victory for Trump?

According to statistician Nate Silver of the website fivethirtyeight.com, there are no possible scenarios in which Hillary Clinton can win with Donald Trump carrying the Amish vote.
“The Amish have their highest numbers in perennial swing states like Pennsylvania, Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, and Iowa,” Silver noted. “They also have strong numbers in reliably Democratic states like Michigan, Illinois, and New York, meaning that Hillary will lose those states as well. There is also a sizeable community in Florida which, while not as large as it is in the Midwest, is still large enough to turn Florida for Trump. Over the next two weeks, you can expect Hillary to enter into a state of freefall in all of my predictive models.”

    #29 Bones, I had that in the line up, I was going to Blockquote this;

Kelly has long mused publicly about how she would love to host a long-form interview show that would be part Oprah, part Charlie Rose, and perhaps part Barbara Walters. The person close to Kelly told me that she appears to be playing the field because she “has a contractual understanding and a personal obligation that she can do diligence and find out what is going on, and it’s my belief that she is still in that process.” This person also added that Kelly is valuing a potential interview platform as much as money itself.
But so far, the purported auction for Kelly’s services has not come to fruition. One CNN insider explained, “of, course we would love to have her,” before noting that poaching Kelly, given the likely cost of her contract, “is not something we are seriously considering.” Instead, this person elaborated, CNN is investing more in documentary-style programming after the election. “I don’t believe anyone is pursuing her other than Fox at this point,” said one ABC insider. A source close to CBS said that they are not making an offer, either. (The person close to Kelly noted that discussions with rival executives were ongoing.)

Rush just announced the latest Texas poll released a few moments ago has Trump +12 in Texas. So much for Texas in play, and apparently there are other red states Hildebeast’s campaign bragged were in play that are not. This portends well for Republicans down ballot.
Some folks are beginning to think we may be on the cusp of 1980 all over again. Rush has been playing prognostications from the Carter/Reagan race in ’80, and the similarity in Democrat tactics and false polling then vs. now is striking. One trick ponies vs. outsiders not running predictable conventional campaigns. Would like to believe Ronaldus Magnus is smiling.

    #18 Tedtam,
On the subject of children in costume on All Saints Day, friends in occupied St. Paul sent a cutie account of one such event they found. Father was congratulating each child on his/her costume and asked which saint they had chosen to be. They eagerly answered and were very pleased with their choices. The last little boy was in a dog costume, much to Father’s dismay. When asked about why he had chosen that costume, and who was he representing, the boy happily said “St. Bernard.” Can’t argue with that.

Looking at how bad things are now and getting worse in Europe in general, and France for at least a decade has had “police no go” areas around Paris, this will absolutely happen here if Clots is elected. That plus the SCOTUS nominations/replacements should be enough reason to vote Trump and keep the evil (female dog type person) out of the Whitehouse and hopefully to spend the rest of her miserable life in prison.
