This is baby-sitting — Weiner-style. Anthony Weiner sexted busty brunette while his son was in bed with him.

Hey Dooooooooooooooooooodski: This guy has some real skill on the 5 string base; playing with Bela Fleck and the Flecktones.

Middle-class revulsion with the political mainstream has been driven by slow economic growth, stagnant wages, a dysfunctional education system, and, for smaller businesses, a tightening regulatory regime. Homeownership is now at a nearly half-century low. New business start-ups, for the first time in three decades, are not keeping up with the number of deaths. Both stats reveal a real decline in aspiration. Most Americans, in a stunning reversal of past trends, see a worse future for their offspring than themselves. Who can blame them? Middle-class breadwinners and working-class wage-earners now suffer from deteriorating health and shorter lifespans.

The franchise has been going downhill since the Disney show was cancelled in 1959.

Morning, y’all. I heard the LAX story as it broke last night. Very similar to airport story from NYC a week earlier. I guess the police can’t afford to treat it as less than a threat, but the MSM sure goes bonkers.

Here’s another take on Cankles health or lack thereof.
Just a sample:WHY DOES SHE COUGH SO MUCH?
It makes her look unhealthy. Extremely unhealthy. It’s as if she’s ready to hock out her esophagus like a big bloody loogie. All that cringeworthy hacking and gagging and throat-clearing and water-sipping and choking leads a curious mind to wander through cognitive meadows that allow the possibility that Hillary Clinton has a lung tumor the size of a football.Colorful prose if I have ever read it.

#7 – Middle-class breadwinners and working-class wage-earners now suffer from deteriorating health and shorter lifespans.
I’m curious about the source for this comment and/or the time frames being measured. -
I’m afraid that all the concern being displayed over hilliary’s health is just more wishful thinking. We should be so lucky.

Well, the little bit of Spanish I’ve learned from Duolingo came in handy this weekend during our registration for catechism. I was able to give some basic instructions to a few non-English speaking parents. One mother could not understand that I needed her to slow down, so I was grateful when an interpreter stepped in. I told the English speaking parents I was grateful that they spoke English.
I dunno, if’n I ever decided to move to Mexico, I’d assume I should learn their language.
But that’s just me, I guess. -
When you book a hotel room online, you occasionally get the option to enter “service requests.” Usually, this would involve you typing something like, “Please don’t tuck the comforter into the mattress because it makes my legs feel trapped.” ( Yes, that’s George Costanza from “Seinfeld.”)
But one Imgur user decided to use the opportunity to go ahead and make a series of completely unreasonable and absurd requests -
#6 BC – very cool… always appreciate listening to a fretless player. I like the banjo work there as well.

I just came back from seeing Mom. She was cheek fluttering worse than this.
But she insisted she wasn’t asleep.
Okay, Mom, whatever you say…made me smile, though. -

#6 BC:
The Bass player is Vic Wooten. He is arguably one of the 3-4 best bass players in the world. While he is Bela Fleck’s go-to bassist, he also does studio work, does his own dates, teaches the occasional workshop and tours with other artists who need a phenomenal bassist.
He also happens to be a really nice guy! -

I’ve heard that consistently about V.W. I’ve heard just the opposite (pretty consistently) about Jeff Berlin. Would love to get in one of Vic’s workshops one of these days.

That’s the most interesting version of 7 Nation Army I’ve heard. Gonna share that one with band mates as we started covering that song a couple of months ago per a patron’s request.

Good afternoon Hamsters. Spouse was telecommuting today, and I was catching up on bills, getting grain for the mares, picking up a prescription for spouse and a 12″ Subway for our lunch, plus having the appliance repairman check out why the washer was making an unusual noise and replacing the pump that was faulty, so I’m late checking in.
Had to double back to the feed store after the grain I ordered that was out of stock this morning was delivered this afternoon. Also had to double back to Subway this afternoon as I discovered I’d left my credit card in their chip reader at noon, distracted while looking in my purse for something to put in the tip jar. Credit card was indeed there when I went back early this afternoon, safely in an envelope with my name on it and placed in a drawer behind the counter. They didn’t know how to contact me. Very nice folks there, and we patronize the place regularly. -

Now Gene Wilder is with his beloved wife who died young of ovarian cancer. I believe she was Gilda Radner.

Just finished Part 1 of The Perfect Horse last night. It relates the story of the Europeans (primarily Polish, Austrians, and Germans) involved in the breeding, training, and preservation of the Lipizzaners and the Arabians in the German conquered countries and the German plan to breed the ultimate war horse from the horses stolen from their rightful owners for the glory of the Third Reich.
The gruesome tale of their escape from the advancing Russian army to the east and the advance of the Allies from the west with destruction from both directions freezes your blood.
The tale of Arabians rescued from the Polish State Stud before the Russians got there and the departure of the Lipizzaners from the Spanish Riding School in Vienna and their breeding farm elsewhere is stressful to read. Particularly when the exhausted and bedraggled survivors of the trek west arrive in Dresden the day before the Allied bombing raids…. And miraculously some manage to survive that horror and escape safely to the countryside in a remote area. It is indeed a Trail of Tears for everyone trying to flee the bloodshed and destruction of the war, not only the horses and their protectors but ordinary citizens of the cities and countrysides.
I can’t begin to adequately describe it, ya gotta read it for yourself. -
Fascinating stuff Ms Adee.

HEADLINE:Obama will bypass Senate, ratify Paris climate accord himself during trip to China: report
President Obama is prepared to enter into the Paris climate accord as early as this week even though Republicans have insisted that the pact must be ratified by the Senate, according to a report out of China.
The South China Morning Post reported that Mr. Obama and Chinese President Xi Jinping are “set to jointly announce their ratification” of the ambitious international climate-change pact on Friday, two days before the start of the 11th G-20 Summit in Hangzhou, Zhejiang.
“There are still some uncertainties from the U.S. side due to the complicated U.S. system in ratifying such a treaty, but the announcement is still quite likely to be ready by Sept. 2,” an unnamed source told the English-language newspaper.
In addition, “[s]enior climate officials from both countries worked late into the night in Beijing on Tuesday to finalise [sic] details,” said the article, citing “sources familiar with the issue.”
The Thursday report touched off alarm among foes of the Paris Agreement, which calls for nations to reduce their greenhouse-gas emissions with the aim of holding global temperatures to an increase of “well below” 2 degrees Celsius from pre-industrial levels.
Myron Ebell, director of the free-market Competitive Enterprise Institute’s Center for Energy and Environment, described the report as “curious because ratifying treaties in the United States requires a two-thirds vote of the Senate.”This thing is a treaty, regardless of how the lefty moonbats try and spin it – it must be ratified by 2/3 of the Senate. Even if the lawless POS signs the deal it is null and void as it will never be ratified. This may be one of his last ditch efforts to cause mahem in order to declare martial law. Where is the timely lightning bolt when you really need it?
What really disgusts me is the almost certain reality that the eunuchs in the R controlled Senate will do nothing. . . . -

Good Tuesday morning Hamsters. The main blob hugging the coast seems to have moved down to Victoria, so maybe our rain chances will stay low for a few days and a cooler breeze will favor us. After all, we are drawing closer to the first day of fall by the calendar’s reckoning.
Did not see coverage of that terrible bus wreck Sunday on I-10 in LA on Channel 11 or in the Chron. Maybe that’s because the driver is an illegal who had no driver’s license?
