Over 100 comments on a Wednesday is some kind of record here for a relatively uneventful day.

92 Texmo Indeed. The sense that people like this—a mix of knaves and fools—are running both parties has a lot to do with the anger that fueled both the Sanders and the Trump campaigns. There’s a spiritual disease at work in this, and over time it has the ability to wreck not just individual souls, but our free institutions and… Read more »

Sadly, the priest got that one right.
At least he’s in a better place than his killers will probably end up.

The archbishop of Rouen, leading Tuesday’s solemn funeral Mass for an elderly priest slain a week ago by two extremists, said the Rev. Jacques Hamel tried to push away his attackers with his feet, saying “go away, Satan,” remarks that underscored the horror of the murder at the altar that touched a chord throughout France.

We never take chances. Only go to Don Jose if we’re close to home, or to Tia Maria if we’re willing to drive several miles.
Oh, and Hubs has been known to get the enchiladas they make at Luby’s. I’ve never had them, cuz I’m there for the home-style veggies.

I never liked his old show that purported to be about how to survive because he was doing stupid, irresponsible stuff like jumping from a cliff into a river in Canada during October because it would it would be “faster”. I’ve been troubleshooting a water filter transfer pump problem and operating the system manually since 8:30. Repeatedly climbing ladders to look inside the filters. It’s only about 105 out here.
Since its your birthday, why don’t you just bring me a couple of 5hp centrifugal pumps/motors and install them for me?
Got plenty water.
