A bit chilly this am, the radio dude said it was 39, later this week it will get into the 70s.

Packers/Vikings should have been 13-13 at the clock and then overtime. What a travesty.

Mussberger is still alive ?

He’s been relegated to calling tier two or three SEC games. Unfortunately for me for the last few years that has been the Florida tier for many games. I mute the TV and find it on internet radio on occasion but the broadcasts are out of sync by a few seconds.

If this official call on Rogers in the Packer game on the forward pass all the sudden becoming a fumble is what the pro football has become, then I am really and truly done with it. A number of people I respect have written this year they can no longer tolerate what the NFL has done to the game. Now… Read more »

My own version of Sophie’s Choice: I have Costas, Olbermann, and Mussburger in a dark alley but I’m only allowed to beat the crap out of one of ’em.

I hope I’m not the only person on earth who just wants to punch Bob Costas right in the schnozz after enduring his pompous, melodramatic monologue.

What an insufferable pr*ck.

I just realized everyone of those ESPN talking heads (and columnists) has patterned their performances after Costas.

Just seeing the name “Warren Moon” brought back all the bad publicity he got that night he was chasing his wife all over the Houston area, both of them speeding.

The last time a Houston (Oilers) team faced the Kansas City Chiefs in the playoffs it was a 28-20 loss in The Dome on Jan 16, 1994.

The Chiefs quarterback was Joe Montana. For Houston, Warren Moon.

I’m just glad I’m not flying through O’Hare in Chicago like I used to do all the time. But if they donโ€™t have guns, what are they supposed to do when some maniac or terrorist shows up and starts shooting up the tourists standing on line at the ticket counter? Never fear, citizens! There are departmental guidelines in place which… Read more »

Yea for the Texans. Now the Packers need to win tonight.

If I remember correctly, you’re from Wisconsin so you’ll appreciate when I say that none of my friends from the Chicago area would be too happy if the
Packers did win.

The bonfire begins: Saudi Arabia cutting ties with Iran. Al-Jubeir said late Sunday evening that Iranian diplomatic personnel had 48 hours to leave the country and all Saudi diplomatic personnel in Iran were being recalled home. Hubby and I were just talking about the butt chewing he’s probably going to get from the coach…and the butt removal that would happen if he’d been tackled short of the goal line.

It reminds me of an Olympics several cycles ago where the US sprint team acted poorly after winning.

I knew JJ had dislocated the elbow but did not know about the ligament tears to boot.

Knowing a bunch about ligament tears myself, I wouldn’t blame JJ if he wore the brace off the field too if needed. The torn ligaments were the worst part of the injury by far. They are so slow to heal.

Come on, Texans.

I thought I saw Mr. Weeden warming up on the sidelines early in the first quarter, or do the backups routinely do that during a game just in case? That of course would be sensible.

Watt dislocated his left elbow and tore all the ligaments in training camp 2013. I don’t think he’s taken that brace off since.
Except to do commercials.

Just checked the Green Bay forecast. It is mostly cloudy with scattered snow flurries and a high of 29 today. Tonight it’s mostly cloudy with isolated flurries before midnight and a low of 16. Increasing flurries after midnight. Lambeau Field is wide open to the skies. Hope the NBC staff gets frostbite.
