Good Saturday morning Hamsters. A little rain so far and 65 at 6, but that will start dropping fast as the front moves in. Looking forward to some real November weather.

Limbaugh did a segment on this and he basically threw the reporter under the bus. The reporter changes the subject registering muzzies or something when Trump is speaking about border security. Trump continues to speak about border security when the little terd reporter tries to tie in muzzy surveilance and the like.
Just at dusk a couple of squirrels were gnawing at the striped green pumpkin on the front porch bench, working really hard and not getting very far very fast. They bit out small chips of the skin and into the yellow/orange meat underneath but couldn’t punch through to the entrails and seeds. So either that one tastes bad or is… Read more »

That last guy in Togo who contacted me claimed to be an Attorney with an English name, he’ll probably know how to talk his way out of any scuffle.
Flipping the race coin at University of Illinois. Amazing how when whites ask for the exact same thing as blacks they are branded racist but the blacks are not.

One squirrel is back on the front porch bench attacking the solo green striped pumpkin and seems to have to take it in sessions. Its outer layer seems to be tougher than the orange ones, but the inside looks just the same. The squirrel seems curious where the other ones have gone, except all he has to do is look… Read more »

Adee, we have been feeding squirrels for 20 years on mixed wild bird seed that we put out for birds, but the squirfs try to get the sunflower seeds from it before any birds do. If there are no more sunflower seeds, I do see squirrels, especially the 5 or 6 Fall babies that turned up last month, eating the… Read more »
Today is a “tending to mother’s legal issues” day. The insurance company is denying the MRI charge for her shoulder, for some misbegotten reason. I’m thinking that an 80 year old woman losing the complete use of her arm would be reason enough to find out why…. /facepalm Next up – it seems that the legal forms that her siblings… Read more »

#13 mharper42 Yup, that’s what we’re concerned about. What are they going to eat when the pumpkins are gone? They’ve been in the barn aisle digging along the edges of the stalls apparently looking for nuts—that aren’t there. Can’t imagine them rummaging in the compost pile for the pumpkin hulls. I hope they won’t develop a taste for pansies. We… Read more »

How long ago was it we at LST were having fun sending monthly care packages to Tommy’s troops in Iraq? Time sure does fly. Where are they now? Where is Tommy stationed?
Say congratulations to Tommy Bramanti, Matt’s brother, who just got promoted to major today.

More pumpkin wreckage on the front porch bench. The last orange one is gutted, and the surviving green striped one only has a small bite out of it. Must conclude the green one does not taste good. So far all the ones on the back porch are intact, but I guess that’s best since we spend much more time at… Read more »

Took today off just because. Use them or lose them you know. Grandkids parents actually axed if Thanksgiving could be here this year! We rate!
Scanning the honey-do list to get ready for it, I think I’ll just go back to work. 😀 Clean the garage fridge?? Man, I finally got that thing seasoned just right.
