It’s college football Saturday. The Aggies are my go to team this week, so go Aggies (actually I think you are supposed to call them Agro-Americans now – I have trouble keeping up).

Good morning Hamsters. Cool 64 with the weathervane stuck at N at 6. Nice. Pollen count still insane but two windows are now open to let in the lovely fresh air. Decongestants are within reach when needed.
The terrible scaffold collapse today across the street from Minute Maid Park seems kinda sadly emblematic of the Astros last two games, doesn’t it? ๐
I was actually in Brenham yesterday. I hauled 3 heifers to the Cattlemans Auction yard on 105 for a friend of mine. This is the same guy who had the heart attack last week. I got to participate in cutting out these very particular three from the 28 or so that he had. Red Limousines, darned pretty. Got there and… Read more »
Reminiscent of the TeePee, some guy on 290W out of Brenham has an entire neighborhood of concrete bungalows that he constructs himself and rents out as apartments. Has a waiting list. Not surprising considering the rental rates around here. I believe I have mention that a couple of years ago there were seven hundred residences in development around here. Would… Read more »

I find it hard to get all up the primaries right now. Looks like the underbelly of it all (money) is in Cruz’s favor in the long game. I’ll wait. If it ain’t him, well we were headed down the tubes anyhow, so….
The smokehouse store in Hillje(?) is pretty cool too.

FA: One could make the case that RomNuts threw the election to JugEars based on the fact that he fought the other Rs 10X harder in the primaries than he did Bronco in the general.

Trump has been a fan (and a friend) of the Clintons for a long time. I’m beginning to seriously think that his goal is to get the Republican nomination and then throw the election to Hillary. Barring that he wants to get the Republicans so screwed up that they can’t mount an effective campaign with whoever does get the nomination.… Read more »

So, apparently the Trumpster blames the 9/11 attack on George Bush. He also says that the Bush presidency was a disaster. I’m not a big fan of George Bush, but I’ve changed my opinion of Trump. Before I simply thought he was an opportunistic blowhard who had figured out what he needed to say to get lots of support. Now… Read more »

Nobody makes money bending conduit. We lie about the initial cost and tell them why they misunderstood our estimate and have to pay more. There are guys who do that. The libs in the Parker camp have the vapors because Bob McNair donated $10,000 to the anti HERO campaign. Obviously he does not agree. This is in section… Read more »
#42 I think that he has his same job it’s just that the management company that was running the water district got fired, and he’s taking over for the owner. They just got rid of the middle man, I think. If this is not perzactly correct, I’ll let him ‘Splain it.

I saw the owners of the TeePee interviewed a while back on one of the “traveling Texas” type shows.

Congrats to Shannon on the promotion. How sweet it is.

But he handled these people beautifully.

Shannon told us a week or so ago that he had 1 offer plus another possibility. I’m betting he took what’s behind Door #2.
