#20 – I’ve known a few of those giant types, and unfortunately, many of them die at an early age. Apparently the effect is the same as morbid obesity since the heart simply is not capable of supplying the needs of someone that large – even though they are not “fat.” Hopefully he is getting proper medical advice, even at… Read more »

“McConnell needs to resign!!” Louisiana GOP Chairman Roger Villere wrote in a Facebook posting. Is the GOP getting the message? Maybe. Mr. Villere isn’t just any Republican. #8 The researchers found that “positive” abilities, such as good vocabulary, memory, life satisfaction, income and years of education, were linked significantly with a greater connectivity between regions of the brain associated with higher cognition. Rush has picked up the story about the “mafia” cabal of cardinals who plotted to replace Benedict 16 with Francis 1, referenced twice in yesterday’s comments. He said Powerline is a reliable source not prone to spreading nutcase tales. He’s surprised that one of the cabal members would come out and admit it in his biography. Me too. Guess the… Read more »

Ann Coulter once said that if Trumpalina built a wall he could perform abortions in the White House for all she cared.

I am going to put this phrase in the category of hyperbole. I’m pretty sure that she was not advocating for abortions in any way but, rather, vigorously advocating controlling the southern border.

Eric Ericson and Red State are still on my xxxx list, but this article makes some sense. If the conservatives run a candidate for Speaker and lose, the power runs back to the winner. PHILADELPHIA — God has a plan for each of His children. #10 The pressure on Mars is a little less than 1 PSI and yes water boils at about +50 F there. The water that they are talking about flows at -23 C, -10 F, (from the article) and doesn’t freeze because of all the salt in it. Water on Mars is usually a gas or a solid (frozen) not liquid.

#9 SD: I wonder what the air pressure is on Mars? Here on Earth at sea level it is 14.something psi. If the air pressure is real low on Mars, would’t the water just boil away?
