Sweetie is fixin to drive to Memphis so I was checking carry laws. Arkansas says its got to be unloaded and cased and in Tennessee it’s gotta be unloaded and in plain view or cased. Not much a point in carrying really, what leave it on the dash to get stolen?

SAVAGES; Gunmen Hunted After 12 Killed At Paris Magazine.
Two masked men, reportedly armed with guns and a rocket-propelled grenade, shouted “we have avenged the prophet” as they attacked.

Good morning Hamsters. Guess we need to enjoy the warmth such as it is before the bottom falls out this afternoon. A whole 48 at 6.

Yup, so now Boehner finds a spine when it’s his side in revolt. Not a pinkie finger lifted to go after the progressives on the other side who are taking our nation apart as fast as they can, though. Spits -

Charlie Hebdo’s editor-in-chief Gerard Biard told France Inter: “I don’t understand how people can attack a newspaper with heavy weapons. A newspaper is not a weapon of war.”
To the Lutherans it is.

I wonder how much longer it will be before the GAY Pariseans figger out that the muzzies represent a more dangerous threat than the nazi storm troopers.

#2 SD: Didja notice that 6 of the 9 earthquakes that “rocked” the land of general suckiness aka Dallas were less than 3.0 on the Richter scale? My understanding is that at 3.0 or less they are barely detectable without instruments. I wonder just how many quakes there were that went undetected prior to the latest manufactured boogeyman known as fracking?

I would have hoped the new Republican Senators would have been advised to make sure their families were close to them for the swearing in and not on Biden’s side of the Bible. The Dems are on their own since Biden is one of theirs. Would think that a seriously reproving look deep into Biden’s eyes that could freeze blood delivered by the elected one or spouse would be sufficient to deliver the message. Or a frosty “Keep your hands to yourself” delivered with a charming smile would do.

RE: The OC pic. Throughout history and even prehistory, a grave or tomb often boasted food and ornaments to sustain the deceased in the afterlife. Here’s a current example from China, where when you visit the ancestor’s grave, you leave food and candy. In the USA, the roadside sites of traffic deaths are memorialized with flowers and stuffed toys.

Its lending programs sprawl across 30 agencies at a dozen Cabinet departments, with no one responsible for managing its overall portfolio, evaluating its performance or worrying about its risks. The closest it gets to coordination is an overwhelmed group of four midlevel Office of Management and Budget employees known as “the credit crew.” They’re literally “non-essential” employees—they were sent home during the 2013 government shutdown—and they’re now down to three, because their leader is on loan to the Department of Housing and Urban Development. When I suggested to OMB officials that the crew seemed understaffed to oversee a credit portfolio 25 percent larger than JPMorgan Chase’s, someone pointed out that it’s hiring an intern.

Interesting video. I see some of this happening here in the U.S. already, such as the jail recruitment.

Are you talking about tonight’s temperature?

It’s still 43 in Magnolia, supposedly only dropping to 28. Does the polar vortex run between here and Bellville or is Shannon watching the lying mainstream weather channels?

#21: Company policy is to apply brakes, don’t swerve, hit the deer and maintain control. Your life is worth more than the deer’s is… unless you’re a politician. Then it’s a crap shoot. 🙂 Between politician and deer – you are still valuable.
It was 20 degrees here today, warmed up to 31 in the afternoon then the wind shifted to come from the north and we’ll be back to 16F in the morning.
Don’t like the weather? Wait ten minutes.

There are few questionable words in there.

Hey, Tedtam, do we still have a bun in the oven over your way? No mention today of the baby lotto…

42 on the moors at Richmond at 9:45. Plants on the patio covered and the rest are on the back porch. Waiting for the weather report on the news to see if further preparations are necessary.

Bun is still in the oven.
I’m still keeping the phone nearby and my “go bag” by the front door.

Bun is still in the oven.
This keeps going and the child will be able to vote in the next election.
