Destruction

Tornadoes can be very violent. The Daily Mail had a picture-rich article yesterday (thanks to crazy cat lady and devoted correspondent mharper42!) about the Moore storm that tore a half-mile+ wide path through suburban Moore, OK, a suburb S of Oklahoma City and N of Norman.
This is what 200mph+ winds can do to a commercial-grade building. Park Towers Elementary School:

Please keep my family in your prayers. We’re dealing with problems with my father, as well, and I’m still trying to maintain with my mother’s issues.

Tornadoes – the sheer power of them fascinates us. We can’t help but watch them. But the destruction they leave behind – terrible.
My prayers go out to all of those devastated by these storms, and prayers for the protection of those in harm’s way today.

The depths of the Benghazi pit have yet to be plumbed.

HEADLINE: PJM EXCLUSIVE: Ex-Diplomats Report New Benghazi Whistleblowers with Info Devastating to Clinton and Obama
    /snip
According to the diplomats, what these whistleblowers will say will be at least as explosive as what we have already learned about the scandal, including details about what really transpired in Benghazi that are potentially devastating to both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.
    /snip
tevens’ mission in Benghazi, they will say, was to buy back Stinger missiles from al-Qaeda groups issued to them by the State Department, not by the CIA. Such a mission would usually be a CIA effort, but the intelligence agency had opposed the idea because of the high risk involved in arming “insurgents” with powerful weapons that endanger civilian aircraft.
Hillary Clinton still wanted to proceed because, in part, as one of the diplomats said, she wanted “to overthrow Gaddafi on the cheap.”
This left Stevens in the position of having to clean up the scandalous enterprise when it became clear that the “insurgents” actually were al-Qaeda – indeed, in the view of one of the diplomats, the same group that attacked the consulate and ended up killing Stevens.

What is becoming ever more clear is that this admin actually believed their own BS and thought that they could do anything. They have consistently refused to believe that radical islime is a genuine problem; they refuse to believe that those adherents are absolutely untrustworthy and negotiations with them are futile.

Adios CSCO’: Texas abolishes CSCOPE lesson plans in public schools
    6:05 PM 05/20/2013

In a pretty shocking move, the Texas Education Service Center Curriculum Collaborative — the entity that administers CSCOPE — announced Monday that it has agreed to cease production of lesson plans for its much-criticized online curriculum system.
Beginning Aug. 31, 2013, school districts in the Lone Star State will no longer be permitted to use any existing CSCOPE lesson plans.
CSCOPE is the acronym-sounding name — that is not actually an acronym — for the oft-criticized, all-embracing K-12 online educational curriculum that has been used in 877 Texas districts, which is nearly 80 percent of the state’s school districts.
The agreement to end the lesson-plan element of the program was brokered over the course of three days, according to the Houston Chronicle. At the end of this week, the 20 members of the CSCOPE board plan to vote as an undivided bloc to eliminate CSCOPE lesson plans.
“The era of CSCOPE lesson plans has come to an end,” said Sen. Dan Patrick, a Republican from Houston, in a statement.
“I’m pleased that the CSCOPE Board has made the decision to get out of the lesson plan business,” Patrick added.

My sister bought a house which had as previous owners an Indian family. It turns out that they were Buddhists or something and didn’t believe in killing, so they had filled the home (attic area especially) with snakes and other reptiles to keep the six legged and four legged critters at bay.
Took her a while to clean the home of the scaly critters. It freaked her out when she heard all the slithering going on over her head.
I feel kinda the same way about the Dems in Washington, now that I think of it.

#21: I am still having a hard time believing that they wissed around for about a year trying to decide whether or not to forcibly shave his beard. IMHO they should have forcibly shaved him and then put him on military trial.
The defense has had way more than enough time to prepare the case, a wissin year should be long enough for 6 or 10 lawyers making big bank on the Govt payroll preparing the case. If there was ever a more clear cut case where the “accused” is guilty as sin, I can not recall it.
Try the sob and put him before a firing squad, make sure there are pigs freshly slaughtered and on site, dip the bullets in the pigs blood before the miscreant is finally “rehabilitated”, dump the carcass of the shooter and the swine on top and cover it with dirt and be done.

Nobody is making “big bank” being a lawyer in the military. Salary for all military officers, including lawyers, is the same regardless of who they are defending and how much time they put into it. They get the same paycheck every month whether the case they are assigned to is jaywalking or treason.

Is there any question whatsoever as to the absolute guilt of multiple counts of pre-meditated murder by Nidal Hassan? Can anyone raise even a hint of a mitigating circumstance? The murder spree had many eye witnesses, the murderer never left the scene without being in custody. That ten minutes were spent discussing his beard is an outrage! A fair trial, no matter how “fair” can not let this murderer go unpunished; because there is no question as to his guilt. He planned the attack, he scheduled it to be in such a place that there were many targets and he knew that they would all be unarmed. There is no more clear a case for swift capital punishment than this. This delay does not speak to our jurisprudence or respect for law or anything else but cowering in fear to the islimist murderer(s) wherever they may be.
Does anyone have any question as to his guilt? How about justice for the families who lost loved ones and justice for those permanently maimed by the bullets fired by this murderer?

  25. Sarge Avatar

The problem with military courts is if anybody can show that at anytime anyone in Hassan’s Chain of Command as well as anybody in the legal Chain of Command—and that includes everyone from his immediate supervisor up to the Preezy, as well as the defense and prosecuting attornies and their commanders all the way up to the Preezy—has even the appearance of attempting to affect the outcome of the trail, he will be set free.
If you want the sumbitch to be convicted, stay convicted, and be executed when he is convicted, then you’ll just have to sit back and wait until the damting is done right with everything crossed and dotted and backs bent in order to accomodate him during the process.

#25: What you are describing is PC MADNESS! If it was a question of not following the order to fire (or not fire) on US citizens during an uprising or the like, your argument may hold a bit of water; this case is not that. This case is doing everything possible to not inflame the mooslime street past the point of being absurd. The mooslime street is going to be inflamed if he is found guilty and punished accordingly by firing squad and the conduct of the trial is irrelevant. This bending over backwards powerfully projects weakness and gives hope and courage to multiple other would-be Hassans. Weakness attracts more attacks.

Fox News learned Thursday night that

the IRS official in charge of the tax-exempt office during the targeting of Tea Party groups, Sarah Hall Ingram, is now charge of the IRS’ health care office.

Sarah Hall Ingram became Division Commissioner of the Tax Exempt & Government Entities (TE/GE) Division – the head of the division that included the group that targeted Tea Party groups – at the IRS in 2009, a congressional source told Fox News’ Mike Emanuel. She was then assigned to head up the implementation of the Affordable Care Act at the IRS in 2010 after the law was enacted. handles health care law.

This is the text for the link above. There is a video ot watch if you wish. This Lerner chick is prolly a co-conspirator.

Lerner is the one who had the job before Miller and after Ingram. She’s the one that planted the question at the Bar Assn dinner so that she could do a limited modified hang out and cop to the IRS doing the deed and tryto get away with an apology through a Friday evening news dump tactic.

I don’t want anyone to stare at the shiny Miller or Lerner and miss the Ingram – THEY ARE ALL GUILTY AND NEED TO GO TO PRISON
The real crux of the matter is that Ingram is in charge of the IRS obamacare division and therefore she is far more dangerous than the others.
