#46 – Fantastic. Hip pain which had me virtually immobilized for years is virtually gone. Five weeks after hip replacement, walking without a cane. Still have to be careful on stairs and uneven surfaces, but joint is getting stronger every day. Doc said it was the most worn out hip he had seen in years. First week was pretty uncomfortable, but by the start of the second week I was able to get around with a walker and/or cane. Continue to do exercises to strengthen the joint and still limp a little, but overall my evaluation of the results are nothing short of fantastic. Will probably do the knee this fall – if I wait, Obamacare will just put me out to pasture and tell me to make room for the younger guys.
