This is sooo unbelievable. You just have to listen.
So, the Jews are responsible for the French Republic rising up and Communism in Russia? And the ghettos that they lived in were because they were so successful but so scheming that others couldn’t live with them? If they were so successful, why did they allow themselves to be forced into a ghetto?
And what is so scary — there are people who believe this stuff.
You can’t write this stuff.

A Mensan friend of mine suggests that 0 wanted to give up the blind sheik and make it clear to all that he knew how to deal with the gentle a-rab types. The plan was for the embassy/consulate to be over-run and hostages taken. Then in exchange for the safe return of the hostages the blind sheik would be given up. The big problem is that the ambassador was openly gay and he was sodomized with who knows what before his nekkid corpse was dragged through the streets. Hitlery tried to deflect this outrage by claiming they were taking him to the hospital.
This event, from the planning through execution and the cover-up makes Watergate look like a Jr High School prank by comparison.
Just so we are all clear, in Watergate no one died, no foreign embassies were destroyed; we can’t say that about Benghazi now can we? -
Is this the lead perpetrator of the Benghazi fiction?
HEADLINE: Is This Man The Mastermind Behind The Benghazi Cover Up?
I wrote yesterday about how the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) knew that the attack in Benghazi on September 11, 2012 was a terrorist attack by Al-Qaeda operatives. We know the Obama White House put out the story for nearly a week that it was just Muslims upset over a benign YouTube video. In spite of knowing what was going on and having the ability to intervene, the Obama administration did nothing to stop or assist Americans who they knew were being attacked by Al-Qaeda. Instead, they chose to cover it up and intimidate witnesses. Stephen F. Hayes has an excellent piece at the Weekly Standard titled The Benghazi Talking Points, in which he fingers the man he believes is the main person behind the Benghazi coverup, Ben Rhodes. There is a photo of the metro-thing Ben Rhodes in the linkie. I hope the testimony is the rhetorical equivalent of a nuke on the whitehouse.

A Senate resolution aimed at investigating and correcting the policies which led to the illegal abortion practices of Philadelphia abortionist Kermit Gosnell was blocked Monday evening.
Utah Republican Sen. Mike Lee attempted to hotline the resolution to express “the sense of the Senate that Congress and the States should investigate and correct abusive, unsanitary, and illegal abortion practices” Monday evening, but an unknown senator objected to its unanimous passage, according to Lee’s office.
“It is difficult to imagine why anyone would object to a non-binding resolution calling on Congress to investigate these alleged disturbing, horrific, and illegal abortion practices committed by Kermit Gosnell and others,” Lee said in a statement.Must be Dick Cheney up to his secret ways again.

Late last week it was announced that DHS was creating an environmental justice unit to combat environmental inequities. According to DHS their new mandate is inline with their core mission of creating a homeland that’s “safe and secure, resilient against terrorism and other hazards, and where American interests and aspirations and the American way of life can thrive.”
In seeking to fulfill this vision, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) aspires to avoid burdening minority and low-income populations with a disproportionate share of any adverse human health or environmental risks associated with our efforts to secure the Nation. DHS joins with other departments and agencies to appropriately include environmental justice practices in our larger mission efforts involving federal law enforcement and emergency response activities.
That means they can do just about anything they damn well please. This is socialism writ large, by the time this is done. Doesn’t Congress have to approve these types of “Justice units”? Or do they just yank the funding for them?

Ted Cruz has to be the most refreshing breath of fresh air to enter the Washington political scene in a long time. I cannot see how anyone with any sense could ever deny his political savvy. Watch him skewer the despicable Senator Reid here:

My guess is he is probably the most feared politician in DC right now, feared by both the Dems and the squishy Reps. Gotta wonder how many of them are calling Cornyn and telling him to get a leash on that guy and get him under control. -
EG, it’s being pointed out already how Cornyn is voting perzactly like Cruz does, on everything, so he won’t suffer by comparison to the young upstart.

That is one of the numerous rumors that circulated following Benghazi. There is not any proof for any of them. Hopefully we are now embarking on an investigation that will provide solid answers to what the O-team thought it was doing — if there was any thought/plan/oversight at all. Is it better to be thought of as evil, rather than merely incompetent? -
#19 Hammy
Turn that di@khead Patrick Fitzgerald loose on ’em? -
If Hillary didn’t know – she hired incompetent staff. Will she doe the same as President?
If Obama didn’t know (which is highly unlikely) – the same goes for him. How does a competent person hire such incompetent staff?
If Hillary did know, and refused to help – well, that pretty much ‘splains things.
If Obama knew – that pretty much ‘splains things, too.
Knowing and not doing anything – is that enough to make their supporters start moving away? Will their zombie following finally come out of their trance? Will the media finally start actually “covering” the presidency?
Either way, this doesn’t bode well for either of them. It’s about time they found enough rope with which to hang themselves.
Awaiting hearing results with controlled anticipation. -
I don’t believe the blind sheik silliness. Even Mocha jesus isn’t that stupid. My guess is he wanted to cover it up before the election to push his “GM is alive, Bin Laden is dead, and al Qaeda is on the run” meme.

It is not only the willingness to toss someone out if they stray off the path, but following through on the threat that is most effective.

From Wagon’s #14
Abortion is, quite simply, a lucrative profession for its practitioners, including the crooked or incompetent ones: In August 2012, the research firm IBISWorld Inc. noted that the recession had decreased the demand for babies, boosting revenue in the abortion business. It forecast 4 percent average annual growth for the Family Planning and Abortion Clinics industry through 2017

Hamous, TedTam, mHarper, and you too Bones,
I am willing to bet my next month’s beer ration, that after all the dust
settles, no one of a major stature will be impeached, fired, or publicly shamed.
Here is why I think that will be the case.
1. Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush-II, and Obama have had scandals where one or both sides ran around with their hair on fire and screaming similar things to what we are hearing now. No one got kicked out of office. A few underlings got punished, but every scandal needs a sacrificial goat.
2. There just were not that many people killed in what was a very high risk situation. This was a consulate and not an embassy. Consulates are much lower in the feeding chain and do not have the level of security that embassies have. I have been in one or two consulates that were little more than storefronts.
3. Leaders make mistakes in judgement on a regular basis and get other folks killed because of their bad decisions. I can generate a fairly long list of “great leaders” who have a serious bone-headed mistake (or two) in their portfolio and this would not be a difficult task. Take for instance Robert E. Lee or Winston Churchill for good examples. Both made mistakes that cost thousands of lives…..by comparison this Bengazi affair is small potatoes in the historical sense. (P.S. I am sure the dead’s relatives do not think this way, but life is what it is) Hopefully, the “leaders” in this case have learned and will not make the same mistake twice, which is about all one can ask.
So let us have a nice investigation and let the chips fall where they may, but the point of the investigation should be to fix the problem, learn from our mistakes, and not to fix the blame, because history shows that the blame rarely if ever accomplishes anything.
Simple -
There has never been a politician anywhere at any time that has voted the way every one of his supporters want 100% of the time. Never. Ever.
Couldn’t agree more.
Its WHAT they compromise that makes the difference.
Ask Marco Rubio how that works.
He took the attitude “I’m popular with the Tea Party, so that gives me cover to do something that is unpopular with the Tea Party.”
As long as Cruz takes the attitude “I’m popular with the Tea Party because I don’t compromise on the issues that the Tea Party is concerned with.” he’ll be OK. -
To put it another way:
Foregiveness is earned through performance and delivery on promises. Bank enough of that and you might get a bit of foregiveness.
Expect foregiveness from the outset merely because there’s an “R” after your name and we kicked out the guy who’s place you took only tells us you will do it over and over and over again and didn’t learn the lesson we taught the guy we kicked out. -
Darren is having way too much fun today. He’s having his own little fiesta right her on The Couch.
Give me that stick! I want my turn at the piñata! ☺ -
You will always be kicking people out, then. Always. Hell, I’m fine with that. None of these chuckleheads should be in office more than two terms. My point was that you will never be happy with any politician. Never. Ever.

Same things were said about Cornyn (by the same people) when he was first elected. Put your faith in man and you will always end up disappointed.
-
Oh, and despite all the wailing, Rubio will almost certainly be reelected in 2016.
-
*There were several attacks (5 I think) on the consulate and embassy in 2012.
*The embassy staff REQUESTED MORE SECURITY in light of the attacks and the upcoming anniversary of 9-11.
* In light of the above this admin:
**Decreased the level of security
**hired Libyan staff (of dubious reputation) to perform security at reduced levels
How is it possible to conceive that reducing security after numerous attacks in a highly unstable country (remember that this country had recently experienced a violent coup at the hands of militant mooslime extremists) could be considered anything other than suicidal? On what friggen planet does this seem like reasonable behavior, regardless of the event that happened on 11Sept2012? It is irrational (grossly irresponsible at best) behavior if one were to simply look at it on the surface, there has to be another reason why this was done, because otherwise it simply makes no sense.
There may be other nefarious reasons other than the blind sheik angle for the above irrational behavior. We FRIGGEN KNOW FOR SURE that it was not the damned video that was responsible for the last attack. -

Well, I’m back.
The last class went well. Most of the students played the board game I created, which reviews what we covered in class this year. As they played, they gathered “Heavenly Rewards” and five “Armor of God” cards. As they achieved this goal, they were allowed to approach the freebies table and choose from the items thereon. I had a selection of books (appropriately themed, of course), some notebooks and journals which had been stamped with little crosses and/or “Jesus Loves You,” a few small plaques from the local dollar store on faith, love, and belief. I was surprised at how fast some of the books went – especially the “I Kissed Dating Good-bye” by Joshua Harris. All of them got hugs as they left, my bouncers helped me pack up the rest of my stuff, and they all got hugs from me as well.
As much as I love teaching, it is nice to know that my weekly stressor is gone for a couple of months. Trying to get everything ready on Wednesday afternoon, as prepared as I try to be, was just one more thing I had to fit into my busy week.
I’ll miss my kids, though. /sigh -
