Domino’s does not have to pay for its employee’s bedroom playtime.

Where’s Benzion when we REALLY need him?????????
OHโข and TGIF Yall Hamoustonians! -
Oddly, everyone else in view in the gameroom seems normal. Wonder if Milla brought her own hand sanitizer, or is that provided by the business?
-
Frankeneggs are coming to a store near you soon. It also looks like they will market the frankeneggs to food companies to incorporate into finished products.

I volunteer to investigate.
For the sake of science and expanded knowledge. -
I had to look up who Milla Jojovich is.
It seems she’s some science fiction movie queen.
No wonder I’d never heard of her.
Anyway, it appears that she is an outee. -
Senator Sessions leaves bootprints. He is —- wissed —– OFF.
And with good reason. The Dems budget is crap, and he knows it. -
#6 TexMo
Not Frankeneggs, but Fauxeggs. Like “imitation crabmeat” or “eggplant parmesan”, no gene splicing involved. Just come up with a substitute for the real thing. -
โimitation crabmeatโ
That would be “Krab”

Hasn’t TBO already done this, with disastrous results?
And why is the government getting into something that the free market should be doing?
Oh, I forget who I’m talking about. My bad. -

RE: wasting taxpayer money
You’ve got to read this fascinating article on Tom Tryniski from a small town in upstate New York. He’s retired, a self-taught engineer with a high school diploma, who adds 250,000 pages a month to the free newspaper database that he runs from his attic and a gazebo in his yard.
Tryniski’s overhead is $830 a month and he gives his data away for free.
The federal government has spent to date $22 million to get about 5 million pages online. One computer expert working alone has built a historic newspaper site that’s orders of magnitude bigger and more popular than one created by a federal bureaucracy with millions of dollars to spend. Armed only with a few PCs and a cheap microfilm scanner, Tom Tryniski has played David to the Library of Congressโ Goliath.
Tryniski’s site, which he created in his living room in upstate New York, has grown into one of the largest historic newspaper databases in the world, with 22 million newspaper pages. By contrast, the Library of Congress’ historic newspaper site, Chronicling America, has 5 million newspaper pages on its site while costing taxpayers about $3 per page.[*] In January, visitors to Fultonhistory.com accessed just over 6 million pages while Chronicling America pulled fewer than 3 million views.
Fourteen years ago, Tryniski, a retired engineer, launched his website after a friend loaned him a collection of old postcards of Fulton, New York, the town where he’s lived all his life. He decided to scan and share them online with his neighbors. -

He said when you read the Senate budget, “you find that the Vatican is not the only place blowing smoke this week.”

Jesuit school student gives greatest live-television wet willie since dawn of time during the selection of the new pope.
The action took place on the campus of St. Josephโs Preparatory School, which bills itself as Philadelphiaโs Jesuit school. The news anchor is attempting to speak to Rev. George W. Bur, S.J., the schoolโs president, because Pope Francis is the first Jesuit to hold the position.http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=p0ft7FKEfsw

Wayne LaPierre wins the “getzit” award.
HEADLINE: LaPierre: โLet Them Be Damnedโ
/snip
Acknowledging the ire that has been directed his way since Decemberโs shooting, LaPierre announced, โI didnโt come here to be popular; I came here to stand for what I believe is true.โ As for the elitists in the mainstream media and the nationโs capital: โLet them be damned,โ he said.Would that more in the public eye would shun the insanity of
political correctnessLTN censorship. It is way past time to stop the madness and call the facts as they are with out regard to the prevailing nonsense. -
Well I would like to announce since Tedtam hasn’t yet, AB and I are expecting a little… GIRL come late July!! The shot gun jokes can now commence.
-
#23 LD: I have 4 sisters and one brother, 21 nieces and nephews. My baby sister, (3 boys, 1 girl) told me once that she never felt better than when she was pregnant; is this the case with you so far?
-
#23 – Taking a page from Texpat’s ‘HH’ ………… MAZEL TOV!!!!
-
#24- Bonecursher- So far I haven’t had any issues with my pregnancy if that is what you are asking. I love being pregnant honestly, I have never been confident about my body but for some reason I do now and makes it less about all that stuff. But both AB and I were not expecting to have a little bundle come so soon, but now that we are half way through, we wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. AB is so excited about being a dad and has already stated that our little girl is not leaving our house until she is 30!
#25 Katfish- Thank you!!! -
Congrats LD ! Words of advice coming from fraternal grandparents of a little baby girl, we are grandparents too.

That video of Jeff Gordon pranking the car salesman on a Camaro test drive? It was fake. Car salesman was an actor. I knew better than trust that prissy wine sippin New York Sitty lovin Jeff Gordon.

Pat Caddel spoke at CPAC, and he held nothing back.
As a Democrat, Caddell said he could tell the truth about the failings of the Republicans 2012 campaign efforts since “I have no interest in the Republican Party.” He compared Republicans unfavorably to Democrats.”In my party we play to win. We play for life and death. You people play for a different kind of agenda…Your party has no problem playing the Washington Generals to the Harlem Globetrotters.”
snip
When an audience member asked Caddell why he, a Democrat, was offering Republicans advice that would help them beat his own party, his response was met with huge applause. “I’m not a fan of Barack Obama,” Caddell said. “My first allegiance is to my country. I have paid a huge price, and when I watch you people screwing up I’m offended.”“When you have the Chief of Staff of the Republican National Committee and the political director of the Romney campaign, and their two companies get $150 million at the end of the campaign for the ‘fantastic’ get-out-the-vote program…some of this borders on RICO [the 1970 Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act] violations,” Caddell told the crowd. “It’s all self dealing going on. I think it works on the RICO thing. Theyโre in the business of lining their pockets.”
“The Republican Party,” Caddell continued, “is in the grips of what I call the CLEC–the consultant, lobbyist, and establishment complex.” Caddell described CLEC as a self serving interconnected network of individuals and organizations interested in preserving their own power far more than they’re interested in winning elections.
“Just follow the money,” Caddell told a rapt audience. “Itโs all there in the newspaper. The way it works is this–ever since we centralized politics in Washington, the House campaign committee and the Senate campaign committee, they decide who they think should run. You hire these people on the accredited list [they say to candidates] otherwise we won’t give you money. You hire my friend or else.”
Financial corruption is a key component of the current process, according to Caddell. “There’s money passing under the table on both parties. Donโt kid yourself…If you canโt see racketeering in front of you, God save you.”Caddell predicted that the Republican Party, unless it became the anti-establishment, anti-Washington party, would become extinct, like the 19th century Whig Party. “These people [in the consulting-lobbying-establishment complex] are doing business for themselves. They are a part of the Washington establishment. These people donโt want to have change.”
The 2010 takeover of Congress by the Republicans, Caddell said, “was not engineered by the Washington Republican establishment. They [the establishment] then took that victory and threw it away.” -
LD, may your pregnancy and delivery be untroubled. Your little girl is sure to be a stunner, with good looks on both sides of her family!
-
I thought of ya Sarge when I heard Caddell had said that.

#26 LD
AB is so excited about being a dad and has already stated that our little girl is not leaving our house until she is 30!

I thought of ya Sarge when I heard Caddell had said that. When I think of the things those cronyist bastidges say about folks like us just so they can stay in power and line their pockets, I start thinking of President Rand Paul.
-
#32- yea but Dad didn’t have a shot gun before that happened ๐
We already own one and two hand guns! And AB is already pricing spring loaded ones. -
Oops: Colorado high-capacity mag ban might ban almost all mags

I thought Boron was the Fifth Element.
-
Nah,
Boron is a character in a movie played by that comedian feller. -
No, guys, Boron is the guy in the White House.
-
Bones finally finished that ukelele he was building.
-
Congrats to LD & AB. Now you can decorate with certainty.
-
#42: You are correct, but it sounded crappy so I had to start over.
-
#42, #44
Sounded a little tinny to me. -
Dang what a Loong week, oh and congrats to LD & AB. Being a Daddy I can say that the second best thing that ever happened to me was having kids, and the worse thing that ever happened was having kids! All the parents here will know what I’m talking about.
-
#34 Shannon, when my baby girl got married we danced to “I loved her first” for the father/daughter dance. I couldn’t listen to it without tearing up so when we got out on the floor daughter started talking to me and a I kinda’ shut out the words and danced to the music, she saved my bacon on that one. Oh and she is STILL my baby girl! ๐
-
Way to go Dave, ya blog kilter.
Shabbat Shalom Y’all -
Hey it twern’t me! It was dead at 5:53, I only tried to give it CPR. ๐
-
Well we’re off to the deer lease tomorrow, to install our new
dance floorfront porch and raise H3!! on the 4 wheelers. The first thing we have to do is find our bridge, after all the rain it might be at Flat Fork Creek, I hope it didn’t wash all the way down to the Attoyac River. ๐ -
Hope all ya Hamsters have a great weekend. Mine will be subdued, as I learned this week that I almost waited too long, to still have enough energy to train my replacement. ๐ Got 2 more weeks of that upcoming, then see if it looks like The Company can finally cut me loose.
I plan to spend the first week of retirement doing nothing but working Sudoku puzzles. -
Got 2 more weeks of that upcoming, then see if it looks like The Company can finally cut me loose.
Maybe they’ll hafta pull you in on a high paid consulting basis for a few weeks a year, just so you don’t get bored.
-
Yeah, you can do like the City of Houston does. Retire an employee, then hire ’em back as “consultants” while they’re pulling a pension.
Happens all the time. -
My inversion table arrived today. Off to tackle assembling it. With any luck, I’ll be heels over head soon.
-
Mharper
I figured you’ve been worn out training and commuting. Get some rest this weekend.
