A 2,010-calorie head shaker

Meet the opposite of liposuction.
The peanut butter and chocolate ice cream shake at Cold Stone Creamery — which packs a scale-tipping 2,010 calories — is so fattening it would take a 20-mile run to burn off.

Headshaker;
Your intention to cover the dark side is a bit disturbing.
For whatever reason, I still think you’re better than that.

Darren, I appreciate your feedback. You have to understand that my site exists so guys like Shannon, Katfish et al can stay in touch with their dark side. Otherwise there’s no telling what would happen. Ya’ll have the “lily white” (no pun intended) blog market covered 😉

Well, I guess it depends on how you’re using them.

Do they go with Ron Paul’s niple rings?
Btw, was Wagon’s front page pic toned down at all? He does have an eye for deviant sex.

Further to Sarges thread injector quest, I have (actually it is my wife’s) an older singer that I may have over-stressed sewing leather. It now will not sew in a straight line anymore and it frequently jams and knots-up. Any ideas on a good sewing machine repair facility, NW side of Hou preferably.

I’ve worked in leather before. Knife sheaths and miscellaneous gear for my reenacting days. A lot of guys love it, but I never really developed any real talent or love for the craft. But I’ve got about 10 ideas running around in my head and I figger that it would be more expensive to get someone else to do it… Read more »

#40 Sarge Will be using cordura, ripstop nylon, and silnylon. I’m still no help — never heard of any of these. In general, a regular sewing machine has a hard time with thin slippery fabrics like “normal” nylon, rayon, silk, etc. You need good tension adjustments to help the machine grip and hold these fabrics securely while they are being… Read more »

Sorry, I’m no help. I only have a regular thread injector, and no experience with injecting thread into leather and canvas.

No leather and/or canvas involved.
Will be using cordura, ripstop nylon, and silnylon.

Iowans undue influence in the selection process of our next President.

I happened to catch some of Dan Patrick’s radio show yesterday afternoon, and he commented that more voters turn out for the primary in his Texas Senate District #7 than in the entire state of Iowa.

TRUTH from my inbox:

In the coming New Year, 2012, both Groundhog Day and the State of the Union address will occur on the same day.
This is an ironic juxtaposition of events.
One involves a meaningless ritual in which we look to an insignificant
creature of little intelligence for prognostication.
The other involves a groundhog.

#30 Sarge For strength and stability, look for an older Singer machine. I actually have one that needs a little TLC that I picked up for $40. The older machines are made of metal, not plastic, and hold up better. They can handle the heavier materials more easily. For what you want to do, you don’t need all the fancy… Read more »

OK, the following may be considered sexist, but—- A question for the ladies: I am considering purchasing a sewing machine—which from this point forward will be referred to as a “thread injector.” Not so that I can sew, but so I can make gear. Hailstones are created in the most dangerous of storm clouds, the anvil shaped cumulonimbus tower. Droplets of water within the cloud will freeze in the upper reaches of the cloud and fall, only to be swept aloft again by powerful updrafts within the cloud, gathering more moisture which freezes and makes the stones ever larger until they become heavy enough… Read more »

Last summer I was kicked out of the pool for urinating in the water.
“That’s ridiculous!” I shouted at the pool manager. “Everybody does it, you know.”
“That may be so, but not from the diving board.”
