I hate chain emails and will severely chastise anyone that sends me one. This one I got from my brother and I felt compelled to forward it to my friends. Even if you don’t want to forward this one, you need to scroll all the way down!!! As a rule, I don’t pass along these “add your name” lists that… Read more »

Doing the Snoopy Happy Dance because we got rain this afternoon. A cloudburst for a while and then light rain for a couple of hours. A whole .70″, which is more than we’ve had cumulatively since June 22. Thank you, Lord. May we have another?

You would think this issue (it’s popping up everywhere), if they were consistent, would renew/start pressures for school choice and removal of gubment from our educational systems, federal and state, by the libertarian crowd but somehow I don’t think that will be the reaction.

In announcing its closure, Solyndra cited an unexpected reduction in demand for its products and intense competition from Chinese companies that drove down the price of solar panels it could sell.

Read some, not all, agree. I tried hard to find again a recent article or letter I read, written by an immigrant Muslim woman, I think to here in the USA, saying she left her country tro get away from Sharia Law, so why on earth would she want it to follow her to the Western world?

Good morning Hamsters. On the edge of the rainfall as usual yesterday, only 0.05″. Richmond got .26″, but that’s on the other side of the river. And this morning Richmond got more while we got a light mist. Watching the radar from the SW in hopes something good drifts over us. At least it’s overcast and pleasantly cool starting at… Read more »

#89 M42 you have just nailed it. Islam seems to me to be a phony religion — more of a repressed political system than a spiritual belief system. What most people fail to consider is that islime is a political system in addition to a devil worshiping religion. Islime dominates every aspect of life in sharia ruled islimic countries. Just… Read more »

Do you think at least part of the reason virtually all liberals scorn Israel is the religion angle? Liberals do scorn those who are religious. I definitely don’t understand why liberals seem to love moooslims. Something to do with ’em being downtrodden minority (+99% non-white), I suppose. Most of the downtrodden-ness is surely due to the primitive culture most of… Read more »

I’m really not surprised by this article in the NYSlimes. What I do find appalling is the abject refusal to view the “palestenian” Israeli issue from a neutral standpoint; almost every news outlet takes a hard pro-pal stance. I’ll ask the question again: How long do you think the US would tolerate rockets, missiles and suicide bombers fired at civilian… Read more »
