    Hamous, you always provide valuable perspective. At .323 PCT they’re currently the worst in either the NL or the AL. Even at that though, they don’t make your list above.

    Hey, the season’s just a little over half done. They’re 0.200 their last 10 games. But it may be hard not to win 13 more games, even for the Astros.

    One of the choices we had besides ‘Skeeters’ was ‘Lizard Kings’. The logo had a Texas horned lizard. We came thaaaaat close to being (unofficially) the ‘Horny Toads’. What an opportunity missed.

    What are you complaining about. There are no winners or losers any more. They are just trying to be PC. Who knows, before long they will start talking about going green and wearing pink to promote breast cancer awareness. (Don’t misunderstand, I don’t mind raising money for research, but just doing stuff to feel good doesn’t cut it for me). Maybe they should play all day games so they don’t have to turn on the lights, or maybe they could cut down the lighting in the outfield; and for sure they need to open that roof and turn off the AC. I don’t even know why they are bothering to keep score because someone’s feelings might get hurt. Some people just can’t seem to give up their old ways and get on with the program I guess.
